I have stayed in all but 1 hotel in the Peterborough area. Pros: Water pressure, friendly front desk staff, breakfast quality, parking, swimming pool Cons: Hotel is showing its age and needs a refresh, cleaning staff, matress and bedding, TV not setup properly as picture was too big for the screen Overall: Not a bad hotel though be cautioned that if you put up your "do not distrub" placard and do not remove it before 07:00, there is a very good chance that your room will not be cleaned. If you do not place it on the door, be cautioned that service will knock on your door while you are still sleeping. It's the very definition of a no-win situation. I stayed for 2 weeks and on 3 seperate days, they did not clean my room. On one occasion, I went to the front desk and asked them if they were going to clean my room - it was 13:00. The front desk told me not to worry but they still managed not to clean my room. There is a theme here. Recommended only if the Super 8 is not available.

The hotel was fine, room was clean and bed was comfortable. We travel a lot and this was the most noisy hotel we have ever stayed in and we couldn’t sleep and we needed to be up at 5:45am. The hotel had hockey teams that were extremely loud (fighting/door slamming/swearing/running up in the halls). There was a security guard in the halls but this didn’t stop the situation. I spoke to the desk clerk at our check out and he said they knew about the situation and were sorry but the parents were drunk and some were drinking in the lobby bar and they couldn’t do anything. No discount or anything was offered. I would stay somewhere else based on our experience although there was nothing physically wrong with the hotel.

Was in Peterborough for a hockey tournament. This hotel has a Kelsey’s adjacent to it, which made it great for team dinner. The free breakfast was fabulous!
