Great place to rest your head

Second time I've stayed here recently and I've got to say I love it here. It's well located with easy access to the A1 etc. The rooms are comfortable, well appointed and are full of nice little touches. Staff are great and the onsite restaurant serves very nice food. Coupled with a good beer selection, what more could you need?

Gorgeous place to stay

Really nice stay, gorgeous frontage on hotel trailing in wisteria. Bedroom comfy will all the stuff you'd need. Appreciated a bath as all too often its only a shower. Staff attentive and helpful. Breakfast very good. Plenty parking

Noisy night

Disappointing stay. Noisy from 05.30 when i suspect staff arrived, radio went on and woke us up. Room was on the small side and everything just looked dated. Soundproofing was non-existent.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, delicious food

Lovely overnight stay. Delicious dinner in the restaurant and cooked to order breakfast. Room was comfortable and lovely touch having the radio playing as we entered. There is a lovely outdoor seating area but sadly was too chilly, maybe we’ll visit again in the summer.

A lovely hotel for a weekend break.

A weekend break to celebrate and relax. Room was comfortable and clean. Only downside was the shower in oir room which had very low pressure.

An amazing experience in a charming town. We loved The Bell Inn and all its rich and fascinating history. The rooms were great and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The food at the Inn restaurant was great and if you like blue cheese this is the place to try their famous Stilton Blue Cheese.We had our Saint Bernard with us and everyone catered to our dog as if she was there own. Lovely experience and we would definitely return soon.

Brilliant place to stay

The stay here was exceptional- I was stuck here due to the weather but I can think of nowhere better to have been stuck. The staff were all so lovely and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The food in the bar was excellent. I can thoroughly recommend it as a place to stay.
