We had one of the cottage rooms, which was really nice. The building is stunning, deducted a star as part of our group in the main building where there are lots of steps/stairs and they struggled (aware that this is due to the nature of the build but not clear at the time they booked)

The rooms are generally clean and comfortable. The bar and food are really good albeit some of the dishes on the menu are overcomplicated and somewhat overpriced. The reception isn't manned all of the time so that can cause delays if you have a query or want to check out.

The hotel was amazing, the rooms gorgeous, the food and bar amazing. The only downside to our stay was being woken up ay.t 7am by the room cleaners as the cupboard they used was right next to our room. Avoid rm 22 if possible as we had a late night and would have loved a lay in as check out wasnt until 11am. Other than that no complaints x

Very clean and friendly hotel. Staff are great and breakfast is fantastic. New menu is a little bit weird, lack of healthy options and inability to cater for special diets. Gammon is awful. Never a problem before. However, this place is still excellent.
