I have no words. I rarely leave a review but this experience was 10/10. The host is amazing and his breakfast better than any restaurant, so so good so many healthy options, yummy! I will definitely be coming back. It felt like home away from home and all other guests were extremely friendly.

My husband and I went to Charlevoix to celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary. Checking was easy and Steffen was very helpful. He gave me the names of beaches to explore. There was a beach one block away with benches overlooking the lake. A perfect place to watch the sun go down. We would stay there again just for Steffen's breakfast. Thanks Steffen, for being caring and making our stay delightful.

Anniversary celebration.

The home was very clean. Stephen provided a delicious healthy breakfast with a lot of variety for everyone. He was also very accommodating with giving us a first floor bedroom as I have some disabilities. It’s a very historic house and we enjoyed that. But I was disappointed to see all of the plastic and silk flowers, especially in Charlevoix, which is filled with planters and gardens full of flowers.

Great accommodations. Had everything I needed for my stay, including a homemade breakfast. The bed was comfy too! The location was walkable to restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay sgain!

Steffan shared that we could park on lawn if necessary. He came out and totted our bags our two room rental without being asked. Very friendly! So are others who stay here. I cannot yet vouch for the bed.

We recently had a great 4-night stay at the Charlevoix House. We thought Stephan, the innkeeper was wonderful and seemed to truly enjoy his role there. He was very attentive and went out of his way to ensure that our stay was a good one. His breakfast dishes were delicious and fresh every day. The house itself is showing its age and needs some tlc but we'd like to think that's part of the charm. The front porch floor was in need of a paint refresh, but other than that, our room and rest of the house was nice (squeaky floors and all). We'd much rather stay there than at a local hotel. The location is convenient for walking downtown Charlevoix. And we enjoyed meeting and talking to the other guests. Definitely will return.

Homey and Warm Charlevoix Inn

We had a very nice stay. The house is quite clean, although old. We specially appreciated the thoughtfulness's and friendliness of the Innkeeper, Stefan. He makes all feel welcome and he’s a good cook! The location is great. We walked to everything in town. If you like homey, warm and convenient, this is the place for you.

This is an excellent bed and breakfast. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and Steffan is the nicest host. Quick walk to downtown and the beach, can't beat the location!
