Not recommended

This is an older motel that needs some serious maintenance. The stairs up to our floor were damaged and rusty. Our toilet was not functioning and we had to use a plunger multiple times. There were people smoking marijuana, which we reported twice because it was starting to come in our intake of the air conditioning. The staff was very friendly and did give us a discount. I would not recommend this hotel.

Not worth the money.

Smell was gross. Pictures that were posted online were not of this building at all. Light above sink flickered if you hit the wall. Beds sloppily made. The was a bag of the smoke detector upon arrival. Was not anything as advertised and extremely overpriced!

Very old look like there trying to renovate it. Smell is very musky. The bathtub there was a soft spot where i swear it will go thru soon. Cheap laminate flooring put down. Beds were so so. Not hard but not soft. Im glad i only paid 125 for the room and not the 350 they were asking for after I booked the room in January. It looks like alot of the locals stay there that cant afford a normal rent

Property was dirty and unkept. The bed had no top sheet just a comforter. The continental breakfast was horrible. The waffle maker had years of crud on it. They had no fresh fruit options. The powder eggs and sausage were definitely not up to par either. We stayed at this same place years ago and had a great experience that’s why we booked it again. Needless to say we won’t be back again.

Cheap, not well maintained property. We paid extra for queen size bed but it was only two twins pushed together. BIG seam down the middle of the bed. Not very good customer service. Too small of a breakfast area for the number of guests. Breakfast options weren't very good. Unfortunately, we won't be staying here again.

I was here for a class reunion. The property is showing it's age. I came through here 40 yrs. ago when it was new but everything worked and the staff is excellent. When I was leaving, the breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Excellent food, especially the coffee with a great variety. Keep it up.

Our room had some major issues with cleanliness: the shower and shower curtain were dirty, the carpeting needed to be vacuumed, and the walls in the room were either dripping with condensation or with cleaning product spray. I used a towel to wipe down the walls.

We've been on the road for a week and this was the best Continental breakfast we've had in Michigan to date. The bed was very comfortable, even if the room was quite humid and the AC was very loud.
