We were at the Odawa Hotel three nights Labor Day weekend. After reading previous reviews, we were not sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised and happy that everything was great. Yes, the continental breakfast was NOT hot foods, but that's okay. What mattered the most was that the room was clean, and it was. The gentleman at the check-in counter was friendly and accommodating. We received the $15 vouchers for every day we stayed which was nice. We were on the second floor, and while it did smell like chlorine in the hallway, we did not smell it in our room.
However, we were not in the first set of rooms. The only two complaints we have was the key cards didn't last very long, and the towels were not changed every day. We had to request new towels. We did not have the "Do not disturb" sign on the door, so we thought the cleaning people would have knocked on the door. We were out of the room most of the time. So all in all, a good choice.
