The rooms have the cheapest toilet paper imaginable. The carpet in my room had a huge stain next to the bed. The service is top notch. I interacted with many staff members and each and every one of them were wonderful. They were friendly and helpful and their smiles felt genuine.

There is no parking for Alexander Inn. You have to pay to park in a lot a couple blocks away. That was the only downside to our stay.

Not good at all. Not informed of a parade that would be going on when I booked my trip which consisted of Police, Fire trucks, city workers setting car alarms off at 3:30am and then continued to tow every car right out side my room. Could not get any sleep due to water pipes banging all day and night for my entire stay. Staff was nonexistent. Never again!

Stay was fine. Breakfast had only strawberry based yogurt. My wife is allergic to strawberries so she couldn’t have yogurt. You should have more than one flavor of yogurt.

The staff was wonderful all around. Social hour was nice. The hotel rooms need an update. Upon check in the air was off, so the room was very hot and had a terribly stale odor, thankfully I had Febreeze. Once the air was on a while, the room temperature was much improved. I suggest getting rid of the old carpeting and curtains as they hold odor. I would probably return if the price was right, because the staff was so nice and the location is great.

The desk person was quite helpful when I checked in. All went well until I tried to open my room door with the key. After several failed tries, I phoned the main desk and she soon appeared with a different key. This opened the door, although there were some continuing challenges. The room was basic but clean and comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was included, and a fair number of options provided, although they did not seem to all be available at the same time. Overall, a solid if unspectacular hotel, conveniently located with a helpful staff.
