If I wasn't so tired, I would've driven home. We had a late night in the area and preferred not to drive the 1.5 hours home in the rain. The room had a dank smell, the chair in the room was super gross -- very worn down with stains -- there were a few mosquitos in the room and we saw roaches in the bathroom the following morning. Woke up to loud arguing outside of the place (which is where our window was) in the wee hours of the morning. The people drove away but came back shouting again before heading inside. Also, they require an additional $100 deposit paid separately for the room, which I paid but it was a bit unexpected. Usually, there's a hold on the card that's released when you check out. I was told the deposit would be refunded in 5-6 business days if using a credit card... sketchy but we did it. Ultimately, this is not the least expensive place I've ever stayed, but it felt like it. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it.

Late breakfast on weekends. No coffee 24/7 unlike all other choice hotels I’ve stayed at. Hotel reeks of pot. None of the doors locked overnight. Furniture in room was torn and smelled of mold/mildew and body odor. Lights missing or just not working. Toilet was made for a child, pretty much felt like I was sitting on the floor. Plus it was loose. The shower had hot water though.

The room and hotel itself was clean. The furniture in the breakfast and in the room is a bit beat up. The carpet in our room was ripped up a bit and the bathroom was super dark to the point my 7 year old even complained it was very daek and the ceiling tiles in the bathroom were stained and falling down. The room also smelled like Marijuana when we first entered and I had to open the window and air it our. The pool was nice however you have to walk around the back to the pool and while you can exit out the side door to get to the pool you cannot reenter in that side door, you have to walk all the way around and go into the front door, which isn't really something that is very comfortable being a woman and a very busy highway is what you have to walk near in your bathing suit and with a small child. There should be entry into the side entrance closest to the pool with your room key. The breakfast was good and area was clean however there were homeless men eating breakfast and going in grabbing food and then leaving. Which I understand they need to eat but definitely not what we were expecting to see. They didn't bother anyone but again being a Mom there alone with my 7 year old daughter it makes you on high alert. The parking lot was also always full of trash everywhere. It was also extremely noisy being next to the highway.
