Returning to my room for the evening, I encountered a roach and had to kill it. Combined with the overall lack of cleanliness, this made the stay unacceptable. The room did not seem to be vacuumed or cleaned prior to our arrival.

A little disappointing.

The room has enough damage that a refresh is in order. I arrived late and when I opened the toilet lid, there was a cigarette butt floating in the water. Overall, a lot of road noise, but I do love the Holiday Inn Express breakfasts. Staff was also very nice.

We got there at 3:30pm to check in, and the room wasnt ready till 4:30pm. And the beds were not comfortable. Other than that, it was clean, convenient and affordable

We got a call at 11pm saying they don’t have our room (we were checking in late, room paid in advance). They have “no idea what happened”. The guy on the phone tried helping and I know it isn’t his fault but we were left without a place to stay. Staff said they handled it by booking us a room at their nearby hotel but did not tell us that room would be $300 for one night. I had assumed it was either comped or the same amount as what we paid initially. I don’t have nearly $500 total to spend on a room for one night so we are having to drive 5+ hours back home instead of having a place to stay.

Great breakfast, as standard with most Holiday Inn Express locations. Thank goodness they had 2 elevators, as one stopped working during our visit. Could use a few updates, but overall it was a nice stay.
