This hotel failed miserably in the very important details. i stayed for nine nights my room was only serviced twice and that only happened when I called. Breakfast was shut down early without prior notice one day. upon arriving in our room there were numerous dirty spots all over the room. including uncleaned liquid spills of God Knows what in clear and obvious places 4 days out 9 the water did not get sufficiently hot in the shower the eggs at breakfast often tasted spoiled, old or miscooked. finally and worst of all, the hotel allowed smoking on the floors in the rooms that leaked into the hallways and into our room I will never stay in that hotel again.

I booked a room online on Saturday to attend a funeral being held on Friday. Our stay was scheduled to start Thursday and check out Friday. Online it stated I wouldn't be charged until check in and gave me a conformation for my room. On Tuesday I received an email stating my stay wasn't guaranteed now without payment DESPITE everything listed on their website in multiple places. I reached out to the hotel and they said what I saw online was no longer valid despite me reading VERBATIM what was still in front of my face and they now needed FULL payment to reserve my room. I told them I wasn't comfortable paying in full without having actually stayed yet and offered to pay partial, after quit a few "let me place you on hold"s they said a partial payment was fine. Wednesday I get an alert that they were trying to charge two separate cards WITHOUT my approval for the remainder amount owed, luckily I lock my card just incase of situations like this. I reached out to them AGAIN and now they're telling me they once again need full payment to hold my room, I reminded them of the partial payment agreement and they said it was no longer valid ONCE AGAIN. After they realized I was NOT going to cave, they then said the partial I already paid was actually fine. Once we arrived (at 1:15 AM Friday morning) we were told we could only valet park, which was $45 for 24 hours. Given that we arrived at 1:15 AM Friday that would have us in the clear until 1:15 AM the next day, because thats how 24

Disappointed with having to pay $45 a day to park.

We didn’t spend much time in the hotel because my father was having heart surgery done. But the time that we did stay there to sleep and have breakfast was ok. We had to wait 45 minutes for towels and the breakfast was not so great. But the hospital that my dad was in recommended this hotel so we stayed there. It was $245 a night and we had to pay $45 a day for parking which I believe that if you are a guest for the hotel it should be included. The staff was very nice. But dry out pull pork for breakfast is not something that I would want for breakfast. Our door was very hard to close and also to open I did report it to the front desk.

Ok stay

This hotel is located in the perfect location. We were in town for a surgery at Penn Presbyterian Hospital and this hotel was just a few blocks away. We've stayed here once before and it seemed a bit less cared for this time. Our room had an unpleasant odor to it and the carpet hadn't been vacuumed. On the positive side, when my daughter was discharged earlier than expected, the hotel agreed to refund us for one night's stay. I appreciated that.

Security issues experienced with a malfunctioning fire safety entry door, stains on the couch, dark blinds and mattress, and a faulty electrical switch. Kitchen was not usable and dirty. Vent filter was disgusting. Management contacted. Responded but not a fair resolution. Sent them another email and awaiting their response. If you don't care about your families safety and just need to be close to UPenn dorms, this location is ideal but there are other options like The Study.
