Very Good

Good value for Philadelphia. I needed one night to visit my busy doctor daughter and the Philly Inn worked great. It is an older property but they have done a nice job of updating it. The bathroom was completely updated, clean and spacious. The bedroom was also large and clean and the bed was comfortable. It was less than $200 for the night which was a good deal. The location was also good since there were places to eat within walking distance.
Very nice and clean. Runs have a mid century modern flare to them. So much fun. Walkable to many restaurants. And FREE parking. Friendly staff. A+. Was there for 3 nights.

Not so bad
The hotel was very clean, staff was pleasant, check in very easy. Parking is horrible, bed was comfortable but not installed correctly, one side was hanging off of too small of a platform, so made the bed lopsided. Very disappointing that we had to take cold showers. Lovely decor.
Its colorful and not in a terrible area. That being said, they initially tried to give a downgraded room at the same rate because the a/c didn't work. We found out that wasnt true when the room had bugs and we asked for a change and to be charged the rate of the downgraded room. They will take American Express to hold the room but not for payment when you get there. They don't provide housekeeping during the stay. We asked for towels and offered to get them at the front desk. The clerk said he would bring them in 30 or 45 minutes because it was busy ( it was). Never got them and ended up going downstairs the next morning anyway. The floors are either sticky or slimy/slippery in rooms and common areas. The door to our room (323) looks like its been kicked in once but it did lock, so bonus that we didnt get any surprise visitors. The beds were ok and the second room was bug free. The people were nice enough. Got lucky with parking but had to order delivery to avoid losing our spot. It wasnt much cheaper than brand name competitors so overall, never again.
Stayed 4/2025 Checked out a day early in time to receive a refund and haven’t received it yet. Called multiple times and keep getting the run around including being told it’s been sent on multiple occasions.
Everything else was nice about the hotel.
Hotel does not have a top lock in addition to the dead bolt lock. The bottom of the door has a gap in it so big you can see people feet walking in the hallway. Went in and walked right back out. Did not feel safe.
Okay in a pinch but next time it's the Hilton near
The rooms we're nicely decorated and clean and comfortable. To desk clerk however was not always at the desk and you had to wait. The parking is just okay, but the gate doesn't always go up. When you press the button and since the desk clerk is not always at his desk, you had to wait.
I did not stay there. The whole area felt sketchy and i did not feel i would be safe there as a woman alone.

Good for one night stay.
Not sure i would do a long stay. Walls paper thin & heard what was happening in other rooms.
Parking space in lot is super tight & hard to navigate. Had to walk up steep ramp with suitcases, no entrance from parking lot.
Floors especially bathroom floors were coated with an oily cleaning substance. Shower had only a half glass door. There was absolutely no water pressure to take a shower. But at least water was hot. The scent was overpowering. It was the smell of incense trying to mask cigarette smoke. There parking had no spaces. Only a few spaces to park a car. I parked outside in front parking only to find my car blocked and had to wait gor people to move their vehicles so i could get out. Had to move nightstand to other side of bed so i could plug in the one lamp. There was duck tape holding up the picture mural yo the wall. There were holes and stains in bedsheets. And there was only one elevator wirking. Best to use the stairs. No amenities like soda machine or ice machine. Be prepared to use doordash because youll never get a patking space. Theres a sketchty gas station next door where you can get a soda. Warm at best. So, best part was cost, but still over price. So my advice is 10/10 wouldn't stay here ever again.

The air freshener permeates the entire property; it's strong and it's TOO MUCH.
