Took a daytrip from NY, chose for price, location, and cleanliness. Ideal in its budget range for those who mainly need a nice clean room, bed, and hot shower after walking around. We walked from the 30th St station. Walkable (if you're used to walking) to all major tourist sites, public transportation, shopping. Lot's of food/drink options, pharmacies, etc within a few blocks of the hotel. Gym and ice machine in the basement, restaurant on the ground and penthouse. Nice sunlight and view from our window. Didn't seem as crowded outside the hotel compared to other options when we walked around the city.

Stag was nice, however it took 3 calls to get hangers. My AC went out on my last night’s stay during a 90 degree day in Philly. Shower curtain smelled musty. - all else was good. Clean room. Nice shower products & towels, & spacious room. Almost zero hanging space for clothes…more hanger-friendly hook’s would’ve helped. Restaurants were buzzing w/activity all 3 nights I was there. Easy coffee/pastry cafe w/good selections, + some fresh fruit & RX bar options.

We had a wonderful stay at Motto By Hilton Philadelphia. The location was perfect, the surrounding area felt very safe and it’s close to the action but far enough away that it’s relatively quiet at night. Theres a convenient parking garage directly across the street. The hotel staff were all helpful, friendly, and accommodating. They give out water bottles for free, which is so appreciated. Check out is at 12, which I’ve rarely seen at hotels (it’s usually 11 at the latest), so that made a huge difference and really sets this hotel apart. There’s a hotel bar plus the El Techo taco cantina on the rooftop where they serve amazing drinks and delicious tacos with beautiful views of the city. They have a nice little cafe in the lobby with great coffee and breakfast sandwiches. We stayed in a studio room which was spacious and clean, it also had a pull out couch. Netflix on the tv was a major plus. The bathroom came equipped with nice smelling lotion and body wash. Overall a fabulous stay and experience, we will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Philly!

The hotel is awesome. Cute, clean and friendly staff. It’s the parking situation that needs improvement. The valet is super disorganized, no signage to tell you where to go, how to get your car, etc. and the guys were a little rude when you went over to ask what to do.
