Ten minute walk to Union Transfer for a concert.
The staff I spoke to over the phone and at check in were very helpful and friendly! Parking in the lot right outside the building, was $25 a night AFTER you let them know you are staying at Sleep Inn. The rooms were clean and well cared for which was a relief after the dingy hallway carpet. Breakfast had bananas and apples for those of us that can’t eat gluten or dairy.

Good Enough
This place is probably about a year away from needing a renovation, but for now it gets the job done. Located in Chinatown, so a pretty short walk to Independence National Historical Park, while also being cheaper than most other options. Biggest complaint is the limited parking. If you want to park next to the hotel, you have to use a small public lot. Definitely the potential it could fill up if you arrive late and then parking would be very inconvenient.

The parking situation was a little sketchy. And, the room smelled of cigarette smoke, and it’s supposed to be a non smoking hotel.

Do not stay here
I would NOT recommend this hotel. The room as well as the common areas are quite gross/dirty/stained. My room had red stains on the floor and black marks on the walls. I called the front desk to replace the comforter because it already had a stain when I checked in, and they said "What?" and then a simple "Yes" when I repeated myself. They never brought the replacement. When the room was cleaned, the door was left open. I am not sure for how long, but luckily I had only been gone a few hours and nothing that I could tell was taken. When I called the front desk to let them know, nobody answered the phone. I was extremely dissapointed and frankly afraid to stay at this property. I would not recommend, especially for single travelers. The location is convenient to the convention center, which is the only positive but it is NOT worth it.

2 nights, good location in Chinatown...but very noisy at 5.30am until 7. Room was clean and comfortable. A bit untidy and smelly in and around Chinatown, but lively with the hustle and bustle. Car parking was cheap on parking lot and supervised. Dining room was small and you had to wait for a table. When you eventually got one, social distancing was definitely a problem. More tables and a bit of thought required.

This property was rated an 8 out of 10 on your site. That is why I chose it. It is actually a rated a 2 star property. The neighborhood it was in appeared to be unsafe and my niece was afraid to get out of the car. Therefore we found another property to stay at and canceled this reservation. Because it was booked through your site they were unable to give me a refund. I am asking to see if you can refund the money?

Location is perfect. We were able to walk about a mile east to the historic attractions. Walk west about the same distance to most of the famous museums. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative was not much “fine dining” nearby, but we still managed to eat well.

Convenient place to stay if you want to stay in Chinatown. A lot of incredible local eating establishments to enjoy. The big negative is one of the parking attendants was very rude. He yelled at us and demanded cash and put it directly in his pocket. A previous reviewer on Google stated the same thing 2 weeks ago. If you have to park a car, avoid this place until that person is replaced. No responses from management/owner on either Google review.

Affordable and Great Location
The location was very good. It was a difficult check-in because they were training someone and both front desk clerks were verg soft spoken so it was very difficult to hear them. The room was clean, but not spotless. However, the location and price really made up for it. The parking was also reasonable.

Bad neighborhood
Carpet is dirty. Neighborhood is not pleasant. I won’t be staying at this property again, or anywhere else right by the Convention center. Not safe at night. Rampant panhandling and homeless people all over. People passed out on street from drugs. The parking is NOT valet - it’s self park and sketchy. Room was quiet, but not a room you’d want to spend much time in.

We had driven all the way from Indiana to Philadelphia to a funeral of 103-year-old cousin which evidently is irrelevant but when we pulled in, we found the place and we were gonna let people out to go check in. We were bombarded by German and said I’ll give you $20 for one hour or you got five minutes to go check in can’t check in in five minutes I think that the hotel staff or property owner needs to get a better grip on the parking for there, the prices are very reasonable but the rudeness of someone coming up to you or to your car saying that we were State was very disrespectful

The floor was so dirty that you couldn’t walk around barefoot, if you did your feet would smell We complained but the manager wasn’t there so nothing was done. There were holes in the walls. The towels were very low quality and they have no room service. Our room was very noisy and looked down at trash containers. I would not recommend this hotel.

$200 incidental deposit!
Overall we had a good time but the incidental deposit was $200. No one warned me of that, and it almost ruined the weekend due to stress. The parking was also $55, which wasn't clarified at first. I just wish there was more information offered before I booked here.
