A perfect home base for a small family traveling to Philadelphia. Everything is within walking distance and has easy access to public transit. Staff was great and responsive, there are just a few cosmetic issues with hallways and overall wear and tear in the rooms that could be addressed. We will be staying again.

This was the third time I stayed at Sonder, and it was good as the previous ones. The size of room was good, the area was safe and very walkable, we almost walked all sites from the property. And the room was clean with all necessary stuff. The view of our rooms were not good though, across the alley were all windows from the other building, we had to lower all curtains day and night. Also, the worst thing was the loud HVAC, the noise was unbearable, we had to turn it off when we were back to room and hoped it would not too cold in the evening, luckily the weather was not too bad. I complained it to the front desk, the lady just shrugged it off and said no one complained it ever! Anyway, I still will be back to Sonder if I need a room in the future.

The property was great - it was nice to have more space than a traditional hotel room with kitchen, small office, and washer/dryer in-unit. The street noise was very loud - which we knew in advance and wasn't a problem for us. I would highly recommend this property to anyone exploring Philly!

I loved the apartment, so nice and big. But the area at night felt unsafe. Even the 24 hour IHOP locked their doors at 10pm. My biggest issue was the front desk staff. So unfriendly! I get check-in was all online so we didn't need to communicate but they could at least say hello. Felt unwelcome and like we were interrupting their phone time. I heard another guest asking for help and they just kept telling them to read the signs. We needed help with the storage lockers, and we asked for help and we got the same answer to read the signs with an attitude! Turns out we didn't have one on our level like they said, so we had to search other levels for one without their help but we couldnt read the signs because we couldn't find them. So unhelpful.

This property is more rundown than the pictures suggest. I’d equate it to a 2.5 star hotel. It wasn’t dirty, just worn. I did not feel like the sofa bed would be hygienic, given how worn it looked, so we both shared the bed instead. Immediate neighborhood was surprisingly sketchy.

The layout of the property was great. Our room was tucked away so there was little to no noise from the building. City was the city but Sonder had ear plugs and a noise machine to help with the sound if you needed it (we never heard it but it was nice to have it thought of). Our apartment had two bedrooms and two bathrooms which was wonderful. Staff were pretty non existent but we were familiar with the city so that was OK. Bathroom could use a shelf to help with supplies for a long stay (little to no counter space). We loved the 2nd floor area lounge - a really nice feature. Room was very clean and prepared for us. There were amble towels and shampoo , lotion , body wash were lovely and toxic free - a really nice touch.
