Stayed for a concert at the theater around the corner. It was extremely convenient to be that close. The room was fine with a view of the campus. Places to eat and a convenience store nearby made up for no ice available that night.

Conveniently located to Temple

This hotel is very convenient for visiting Temple, it’s right on the campus! However, it is badly in need of an update. The carpets have seen better days and the whole place just needs a refresh. Love the free coffee that’s out all the time.

Can't beat the convenience of location

Their service is fantastic and they are very accommodating about parking. Room 207 needs a shelf in the bathroom though because there is no where to put your toiletries. The pedestal sink has no counter space and items put on the back edge fall into the basin because it's angled. Also, generally rooms here are clean but one of the washcloths we were given had a pubic hair stuck on it right in plain site. We didn't complain since we really only needed one anyway, but eeww! Also, the beds are too soft for my liking, but some people might prefer them that way. I will continue to stay here when I can afford to due to the convenience and flexibility with parking (this may require some patience to wait for a spot, but it's better than the TU lots!).

The property was very nice, the staff was kind and helpful. The Bathrooms need some fixing. Unfortunately they do Not have a refrigerator. They did offer parking. Next door had a cute coffee shop and a 7 eleven There are plenty of food places to select from. Its a great location if you have a student going to Temple University. We felt super safe. We'd Definitely Stay there again.

Best Place for Temple Parents!

Super convenient! As a Temple parent, you can't beat this place! Big rooms, parking on campus, adjoining coffee house, and the best location. What a gem!

It was a one night stay for my kid’s University move. Hotel is neat and clean. It is not like your typical Hampton Inn or Marriott hotels but it’s a cute little hotel located in the Temple University campus. Coffee shops and few restaurants are within 5 min walk . Short walk to parking garage and other offices. It was a nice day weather-wise. I enjoyed the walk after dinner, especially after a tiring day ( 4hrs of drive followed by 3 hrs setting up the dorm before checking into the hotel). Overall, it was a good stay for one night.

Friendly but Dated

I recently stayed at the Conwell Inn. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, but unfortunately the hotel itself felt very run down. Our room did not resemble the photos online—the paint on the walls was bubbling, and the overall condition looked tired. The bed was far too soft, making it feel like sleeping in a hammock. While the room was clean, everything carried a sense of wear and neglect. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless you specifically need to stay in the area.

This hotel was exactly what we needed after visiting the Met. The parking was hard to find, but once we found it, it was good. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean.

From Campus Visit to Graduation!

The staff was excellent. Mia was at the front desk when we checked in - friendly and very knowledgeable about the Temple campus. She was very helpful in arranging an extra bed in the room, going out of her way to confirm when it was convenient to us for her to be in the room and setting up the bed by herself. The only reason for less than 5 stars is that the queen bed was extremely soft, so soft that management should consider replacing the mattress.
