Construction everywhere on our floor. Room was filled with construction dust. Super noisy starting at 6am. Valet staff was fantastic but front desk was curt/rude. All restaurants and food options in house were closed. Overall underwhelming and disappointing for the price I paid.

We had to move rooms 3 times. No TV in the first room, No working thermostat in the second room and moved finally to tired and beat up third room. I don’t think we should be charged for the room. This was the night before 4 hours of survey and we should have been able to rest! The handyman/ engineer tried his. Best to help but nothing was fixable.

Well they're doing some renovation so you have to be prepared for taking the stair here and going around the construction site there ,but with that said the place is just a gem in a perfect location with great people and a fantastic bar and restaurant on the first floor. The staff were courteous, location is excellent. The hotel was under construction which meant they were down to 1 elevator and you had to go up to the 3rd floor to check in. It wasn’t horrible but I would have appreciated knowing about it in advance. The room was in need of some refreshing - paint was going and was not amazingly maintained but had clearly been very nice when first renovated.

The stay was ideal for taking our daughter to visit upenn. The only thing that made this a 4 vs. A 5 star was the construction that was going on at the hotel. It blocked the entire front entrance which made coming and going a little challenging. But overall, it was a great choice
