I will start with something nice - The hotel is pretty. On the night of our arrival, it was hosting a prom. There were 20 cars waiting to be parked. The students were loud and overwhelming. We could not get a valet to take our car, even though we were overnight guests. We finally had to pay a $50 tip to the valet to get our car parked. Thereafter, when we wanted to use our car, the valet(s) told us the wait was an hour. When I spoke with the front desk, I was told that the hotel warns its guests (on the parking ticket for your car) that it can take 20-30 minutes for the valet to retrieve your vehicle. In our case, it was even longer. If I had known this, I would not have stayed at the hotel and/or rented a car. Throughout the weekend, in order to get our car, we had to bribe the valets with very generous tips (it still took between 30-45 minutes to get our car). This is a racket! I am so disappointed. P.S. The hotel charges $65.00 for parking. I emailed the hotel manager about my concerns. He did not respond.

Service unprofessional.

Disappointed. The staff needs training. Valet was "on a break" we were told when we arrived. Waited for 10 minutes to have our car parked. The porter never moved to help us with our luggage, so we managed ourselves. Check-in was fine, but we were not told how to access the elevator-which is confusing. After not stopping on or floor, a passenger we picked-up explained the procedure and commented they were not told by check-in staff, either. We then went to the restaurant and again although it was fine, it was not professional. We were seated with no menus. We then realized there was a QR code on the table. We couldn't get it t download. Had to search for a server. When they brought over the menu, it was filthy--covered.in food! After having a look at it, we decided what to order. Ordered with server, who then informed us the paper menu is probably not up to date, so they may not have what we want. Crazy. The staff needs to be tried in etiquette and service. Really lacking in any type of professionalism especially at a hotel which deems itself 4.4 stars.

Staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. When we realized my wife needed a phone charger. The front desk staff found one for us to use. The valet was great and accommodating to our needs. The restaurant staff provided great advice about travel within the city that saved us significant time and money.
