This is what a hotel should be like, sets the bar. Meticulously maintained rooms, thoughtful details, warm and genuine staff, excellent location. Scarlett’s was also delicious and they made our occasion special.

Hotel doesn't honor free upgrades
We have good status and are supposed to be upgraded if the next class of room is available. When we arrived they said there are no rooms available for upgrade. I asked what is the next level up and they said a two bedroom suite. I showed them that there are these rooms available on their site and they then said that they simply can't give an upgrade with no explanation.

Very nice boutique type hotel in a quiet safe area. The rooms are beautiful and the bathrooms are great. High ceilings and a European flavor make it charming. Staff are friendly. The one downside is that both restaurants are closed on Monday for some reason which is very unusual for a hospitality industry. So I cannot comment on the dining options
