A perfect hotel. One of the best we have ever stayed in and we’ve stayed in a lot! This hotel has such beautiful grounds - full of foliage and fairy lights - stunning! Food excellent and always piping hot. Service always spot on, such helpful willing and polite staff. Beautiful room and bathroom - spotlessly clean. Loved the organic sky bar - great drinks and snacks and amazing views over the palace. Had a fabulous meal at Mealea - one of the best meals during our 3 week trip. Used the pool each day, good mixture of sunny and shady spots with great lunch choices served to your lounger. If we ever visit Phnom Penh again we will stay here for certain.

There are many great things about this hotel, which I will describe further in this review, but first and foremost I must say that the Staff is wonderful! There is a reason why Cambodia was voted Number 1 in a London-based poll for Friendliest Countries in the World. The Staff here is extremely polite, very helpful, and efficient and effective in the performance of all duties. They always make one feel that they want to take care of the customers…not that they have to. It is a pleasure to stay here. That said, I must now mention that it is a beautiful property conveniently located near the Royal Palace and across the street from a nice walking area that follows the river. While there are a lot of interesting places in Phnom Penh, if you’re only here for a day or two and would like to get a few photos for your memories, within 5 minutes of exiting this property, you will be standing in front of some of the most picturesque sites they have to offer. How’s that for convenience? You will enjoy a giant room containing a very comfortable bed, a huge walk-in shower, nice tile floor for a cooling effect in a hot climate, and excellent room service. They restock fresh bottled water everyday, and they keep everything fresh and tidy. Plus, I love walking out into a hallway where they have some sort of aroma therapy device that puts off the most fragrant scent. The pool is beautiful & you can eat your buffet breakfast next to it while enjoying the cool morning breeze. It’s PERFECT!

The service is what makes this hotel. The grounds are beautiful. Pool, halls, breakfast just amazing. At the spa i had the best massage of all time. The bed was comfy as was the shower but they seemed a bit rundown. Peeling wallpaper and chipped wood/paint. Breakfast buffet was great. The pool area was amazing. A really nice hotel.

We highly recommend this hotel to whoever visit Phnom Penh Cambodia. Here's why: we checked in on Nov 7th 2024 & immediately were politely greeted by all the staff at the front desk. Linda, the front desk manager were wonderful. She explained about our rooms, which were connected with our elder parent on the first floor (which is 2nd floor in the US), the cost breakdown she received via Expedia, the cost of breakfast, which one room was not included when I booked. We then offered a welcome drink (tamarin flavored), which were refreshing after a long flight from the USA. We loved it We then were shown to our rooms, which we immediately felt in love with. It's our home away. We showered & ordered Khmer food from the hotel restaurant for our parent while we enjoyed delicious Khmer diner just for the two of us. .The restaurant manger was very nice & polite to bring us the wine menu. We ordered 2022 Vintage Cabernet Sauvignon Famille Bouey Cuvee 20, which was excellent. We rested the rest of the day. The next day, November 8, 2024 breakfast choices were amazing & endless including Khmer & Western style food, which lasted me the entire day. The pool is another amenities the hotel has to offer: it is beautiful, pleasant & refreshing: I forgot to pack my bathing suit but my wife and she enjoyed every second. Pool drinks elevated the experience. We left Phnom Penh to visit Battambang, Siem Reap, Preah Vihear temples, Sihanookville, but always come back to hotel - We give it 10 stars!
