The property is beautiful. I enjoyed the spa and pool areas. The classes were great, but they fill up and have other limited activities compared to other spa resorts that I’ve been to.

The property was overpriced, had to call to request housekeeping after our room wasn’t cleaned on the second day. Housekeeper came with a big attitude. Limited menu choices at two dining options on site. During lunch with 3 friends on our last day, restaurant server kept coming to the table and interrupting our conversation - obviously we didn’t need anything. $67.76 “experience” fee charged per day, even if you don’t take any classes. Few are good, some are very corny. Spa is very expensive and most certainly not the best spa experience I’ve had. Finally, they allowed one of my friends to add herself to my room, didn’t take her credit card, so little did I know I had to pay for all of her extras and classes that were charged to the room - which Civana never got my authorization for in advance. Will not return to this resort. Did not end my trip feeling relaxed or reset. Left very annoyed by the waste of money.

I loved the spa & the amenities. The staff there were very attentive & friendly. My message was amazing, Thanks Teri! As before, I love the aesthetic of the room, classes & property. The only issue was I wanted a direct sunlight room. I called & was told I would get a call back about that & didn't. I knew I wouldn’t in the back of my mind & went on to enjoy my stay. The waitress at the bar at Terras seemed a bit annoyed Saturday night. Me & 2 other ladies sat down to eat & drink. I went to the restroom, not sure what happened as I was gone, but I came back to some intense uncomfortable energy. The attitude we were getting was different from the night before. I hope the attitude the 3 of us ladies felt, doesn’t happen to anyone else in a wellness environment. First time any of this has ever happened staying here or going to Terras. Overall, I made the best out of my time & trip to the resort. I think the timing may play a role in when to go.

Loved the classes and that the pools are accessible any time of day. The spa is beautiful and relaxing. The room was great. Cocktails and dinner are great, but don't order dinner before you finish your appetizer or you will get them at the same time. Also, skip the farmers breakfast sandwich; it was barely edible so dry. I definitely got the peace I was needing, just going out for breakfast and dinner next time!

I recently stayed at the Civana Wellness Resort for my first solo trip as an African-American woman, and it was absolutely perfect. This was the best place to relax, restore, and refresh. I left feeling so healed and renewed. The resort grounds are beautiful, everything was spotless, and my room was very spacious. I also felt completely safe the entire time, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and every detail was well taken care of. I had such an amazing time here and would highly recommend Civana Wellness Resort to anyone looking for a peaceful, rejuvenating getaway.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Civana! The classes were all super well organized, all of the instructors were very knowledgable and made everyone feel welcomed. The staff was very courteous and professional. The two closest towns were quaint, safe, and had very zen vibes to go along with Civana's same atmosphere. The spa was great, the massage was AMAZING and love that with this service you get to enjoy the amenities of the spa all day. Only thing I would like to see would be more food options, dinner was a bit pricey but wonderful tasty healthy food. I would highly recommend Civana for anyone looking to re-charge and re-connect with your best self!
