Not up to Wyndham standards
Older hotel with partial remodel. Lobby, breakfast area remodeled. Rooms, not so much. Bedding, towels were clean. Bed was comfortable but king bed had queen comforter. Window needs double panes. Room was very noisy, could hear freeway traffic all night. Plugs in bathroom didn’t t work. Couldn’t use curling iron, hair dryer or electric toothbrush. No other mirrors. Shower doors were off tracks. Could not open or close them. One door was hanging. Couldn’t shower, afraid glass door would fall. When reported, front desk said maintenance had already left for the day. It would be fixed tomorrow. 2nd day, maintenance hadn’t had time. We left 3rd day without a shower the whole time. Free breakfast was typical. Eggs and bacon one day, eggs and potatoes day 2, eggs and sausage day 3. Always available was waffles, toast, muffins, apples and oranges. Staff was neither friendly nor unfriendly. Very disappointed. Would not recommend until everything has been upgraded.

I liked everything except the room was on the freeway side, and it sounded like the window was open, but it wasn't. Very loud freeway noise. I would not stay here again, or would get the other side of the building.

The shower floor was filthy you can literally see a circle where the water hits the floor and dirt the rest of the way around it. The bed did not look like fresh sheets and looked like someone else had already slept in it. The pillow case had a yellow head print stain. There were what seamed like homeless families living at the hotel possibly the full 3rd floor. The room itself was dirty and not well cleaned, the windows looked like people from the outside were trying to break in. The gap under the door to the room can fit a small child’s arm. The staff was not very friendly and seamed bothered if you tried to ask them anything.

I booked 3 rooms, one of them was already occupied. Luckily the door locked from inside so we couldn’t enter. The replacement room had a hole in the wall with some paper stuffed in it. I assumed they knew about it but they said it’s new. They are refusing to refund my $100 deposit as I guess they think a 72 year old frail woman can punch a hole in the wall, clean up any debris on the floor and have travel with random paper to fill the hole. My sister left 3 items on the back of her bathroom door and no one was able to locate anything- we called the evening of departure. The front of the toilet in one of the rooms was filthy. One of the couches was stained. Apparently hskp isn't very observant. I have stayed in a lot of places and have never written a bad review till now. Prefer to let the bad ones go and only write positive things, but I am pissed about my $100 and that after 3 messages requesting a mgr call me no one has.

The hotel is worn and tired. There was a dead bug in the elevator for the four days we were there. After being there a couple of days I asked when would the room be cleaned? The lady at the desk said that cleaning was by request. A light cleaning would give us clean towels. Making the bed would be a heavy cleaning. I asked for a heavy cleaning and the covers were roughly pulled up. I never saw a maid or a cleaning cart.

Checked in on Friday evening, liked the location of the hotel easy access to the highway, restaurants nearby the front desk was friendly very helpful . The only thing that I was disappointed on is when they asked for the deposit I thought $100 was a little to much for a deposit and nowhere on the website does it say we needed a deposit.

The staff were kind and accommodating, but the hotel itself was very dirty. Our room had a lot of damage, the air conditioner was very loud, we had holes in our sheets, and the traffic kept us awake at night. The pool was dirty too with big clumps of hair. We definitely won’t stay there again in the future.

I would stay here again.
The last thing I wanted to worry about during my trip to Mayo Clinic was the hotel room. Baymont by Wyndham came through with flying colors. The room was great - really appreciated the elevator! The breakfast was more than I expected and was very good. The people were so friendly and efficient.
