We needed a place to stay in Phoenix for a wedding. Not being very familiar was the Phoenix area the Sonesta seemed like a good option. The hotel was perfectly adequate for a two night stay when you're spending most of your time out of the room. I don't have any complaints about about the comfort or cleanliness of the room although the couch wasn't very comfortable but most hotel couches aren't. The area of Phoenix wasn't that attractive. It seemed kind of dirty and run down for the most part. There is a large shopping center and a couple of restaurants within walking distance that looked nice (although I did not get to experience them). Overall, I would not seek this hotel out again unless I was traveling on business and just needed a room for a quick over night.

Easy to get to location, located near lots of shopping and restaurants. The coffee shop inside the hotel is only open until 9:30 am and they don’t have many options available in the small convenience gift shop area. Just a few basics. The property was clean, rooms were a bit older but bed was very comfortable. Didn’t get a chance to use the pool but the area around it was very nice.

I left my winter coat in my room when I checked out. I went back a few hours later and was told my coat was no where to be found. I asked if I could look for it and was told no. I informed the front desk staff that I was flying back to Colorado where it was below freezing and didn’t want to leave without my coat. The GM couldn’t be bothered to speak to me when the front desk agent called them. It was a $350 Coat that they just wanted me to forget about. No attempt was made to try and remedy the situation at all. This will be the last time I stay in this off brand Marriott Proptery. Customer Service= 0.

Kind of a quiet oasis in the midst of Camelback. Lots of dining options nearby. Liked the fitness room - well appointed with weights/machines. Pool area/courtyard was beautiful and quiet. Only issue was mixing valve on sink faucet was broken. Elevator broke but was fixed promptly. Lobby area relaxing and inviting.

Enjoyable stay.
Everyone at the front desk was so friendly. The suite we were upgraded to was very spacious, and the location is excellent for shopping and eating. For the ladies who want a pedicure or manicure there is "Nail Bar" within walking distance.
