Shannon at the Front Desk was marvelous. She addressed my concerns quickly and professionally. The location close to Old Town and the Fashion Square Mall were great. My concerns - the pool was dirty and there was no lifeguard. The complimentary shuttle service did not always work well - the phone connection to locate a driver when offsite did not work and the timeliness was problematic because of the limited number of drivers.

The bartender service was great, but the food was mediocre. The common areas of this Resort need attention. The landscape is not kept, dead trees and bushes and weeds. The room was fine, it was clean. The common areas definitely need renovation.

Workers were very polite and friendly. Room was nice and the A/C worked nicely during our stay in early July. Parking was easy and the spots are very close to access points to the rooms and stairwell. Only minor issues were some debris / vegetation floating around the back pool. In our room, there was a stain on the floor in front of the fridge, and a loose tile in the bathroom, middle of the floor in front of the toilet. The two glasses by the coffee pot were dirty, so we stuck with the paper cups. Minor maintenance / housecleaning issues for an otherwise great stay. We will return here on future visits to Phoenix.

I’m normally not one to give a poor review. I always try to see positives in hotels I stay in, however, this hotel definitely does not look like the pictures portray. It seems very run down and old. There was a strong odor in our room, not sure what it was coming from. Around the hotel grounds, it wreaked of marijuana. The pool wasn’t very clean. Also, the poolside bar wasn’t open on days the hotel said it would be. We got there on a Friday and waited until 11:00AM to get a drink and start our day, but it never opened. The sink by the coffee pot didn’t drain properly so it fills up and you have to wait for it to drain. The parking was….lets just say, frustrating. There is no where to park. They allowed box trucks and trucks with trailers to take up many spots leaving the only option, to park all the way around the hotel and walk back the stairway to your room. Only thing positive I can come up with is the hotel front desk staff. They were very kind and courteous. We got in pretty early and the woman allowed us to check in hours in advanced! All in all, when I go back to Phoenix, I will stay somewhere else. There way nicer and more lively hotels in the area for the same price point.

Great location and area! Not far from Old Town, other restaurants, shopping, and night life. Rental car company on site (this was so convenient!). Shuttle bus that took you anywhere within 2 miles (this was a huge perk!). Breakfast buffet at the restaurant was $25 and was everything and more- it was nice to start the day with breakfast at the resort everyday. Rooms have coffee makers and mini fridge- ours had a bar/sink area too. The pools were crowded on the weekend and we couldn’t get a chair. Weekdays the pools were empty and it was nice. The grounds were nice and easy to navigate and walk. The staff went above and beyond they were friendly and top notch. The rooms slightly outdated but clean and cleaned daily. They’re a good size all the space you need for two people. I understand they’re starting some renovations. The rooms must be soundproof, we didn’t hear a thing outside of our room. Try to get a second floor room with a nice view. We tried but nothing was available and we had a first floor with a walkout patio but there was no view just grass and a walkway between pools. The staff at check-in was helpful and looked for other rooms to move us, the resort was just full. Be sure and book a room with a view up front! Parking was free or included in daily resort fee. Bottled water available 24/7 at the desk when needed. The view of Camelback mountain outside the front entrance is gorgeous especially at sunset. No real complaints from us!
