The stay itself was fine, clean. But my issue was with being told the deposit for my stay was $250 and then they tried running a hold on my card for over $400 and then dropped it to over $300 and nobody would give me an answer to the amount. I was told it’s just pending, which I understand, but then seeing it being pending for more. My actual stay cost less than that. I understand what deposits are for, but when the amounts don’t match, I’d like to know why. I know I’ll get the deposit back with no damage to the room, but that put some stress on the stay just seeing that amount pending, not able to use that card now while I just wait for it to be dropped. I suppose I should have asked til someone gave me an answer.

Great stay at reasonable price.
Needed to stay a night and chose this hotel. Room was comfortable, clean and well prepared. I like how Holiday Inn includes Dove soap and lotion by the sink and body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. If you have special needs bring your own but works just fine for me. Had dinner at the ajoining restaurant Burger Theory. I think it's open to the public because you can enter from the street but also from the courtyard as you leave your room. Food was good, fairly priced considering we were near the airport and has a full bar if that's yoir thing. Slipped down to the hot tub for an hour aftrr dinner. It was nice against the cool evening air associated with winters in Phoenix. I had to run out at night and like the fact that after a certain hour the entrance sliding doors lock and requires your keycard to get in. Provides another layer of safety in a large city. The only two complainrs I ihad was the ice machine wasn't working on the third level and had to go to the second floor to get ice, a small inconvenience. Also my phone wasn't working. I went to the front desk to make them aware and they said they could send a technician up immediately to take a look but in the cell phone age I said it wasn't necessary and they could look at it after checkout. One other minor inconvenience is the lack of parking. If you arrive late there's a good chance you might have to park in the street. But overall a great stay and I'll be back if I need a stay in Phoenix.

Everything here is welcoming and inviting. The atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the cleaning staff are all very helpful. We always use the airport shuttle, too. The only thing I wish is that the offered complimentary coffee in the lobby, like the used to!

The rooms were cold, heaters did not blow out hot air even though furnace was set for heat. We asked for space a heater and none was provided. We didn't get any rest because the room was so cold. There was coffee and no coffee cups. I was just so uncomfortable with the room being so cold. I don't think we'll stay there again. Also my credit card was charged for $25 and the hotel attend couldn't figure out why I was charged $25. He said he would find out and would get back to me, he never got back to me. Yes Phoenix is a warm plave but on this weekend, it was cold.
