Hotel has character and is well situated for downtown Phoenix and the convention centre. Rooms were comfortable, but wifi connection was poor. Centrico Mexican restaurant attached to this hotel is excellent - totally recommend.

It's an old and interestingly historic place that offset some deficiencies. The shower handle was very difficult to use. There was no refrigerator. However, these deficiencies were livable and OK with a good/ lower price.

The check in counter was rude. Not very helpful. It seemed like we were a burden while checking in. The room looks nothing like the photos online and smelled like old mothballs. Thank goodness we’re only here for 1 night.

Walking distance to Chase Stadium was a plus. Unfortunately, the beds are extremely uncomfortable.

Overall a good stay! Price was right, location was perfect for an event at Chase Field! It was very clean, but the beds and pillows were very uncomfortable to us, unfortunately. Staff was great and the Irish pub next door was outstanding! Parking was kind of a pain. We had to park in a parking garage and they do not validate any parking. But again, overall for the price we would probably do it again!!!

The idea of old charm seemed nice BUT some things should be updated. The water coming out of the faucets for showering and brushing teeth was brown. There is no fridge or place to keep water that you buy.It smelled as old as it is and the matress is old and extremely uncomfortable. Needless to say after day one of 3 we checked out and went somewhere else.

In general was nice, however some of the pillows on my room smell still to someone else, which was a little bit disgusting. I ask for a pillow replacement, but it never happened.
