I loved the clean beautiful apartment. I had come for QuiltCon2025 and could easily walk to the Convention Center and felt very safe in the neighbourhood. An easy walk to Matt’s Big Breakfast ❤️ which I did twice! The roof top pool and view where lovely, I enjoyed the coffee station on the main floor where you can choose hot chocolate or your favourite coffee from freshly ground beans. I would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing

The WiFi was very poor... the reception to my room didn't work and they told me to try the rooms next door, one of which "worked" intermittently. The window only had a sun shade, no curtains, and it let a lot of light through making it very difficult to sleep. This was frankly unbelievable. It took at least 10 minutes to get reasonably hot water for a shower. It does, however, have a good location. The price is good compared to other hotels in the area, but not worth it given the deficiencies.

We were there for a distributor show. We made 3 reservations last November, but a couple weeks before the event the show informed us that only two people would be allowed to attend the show. We canceled the third reservation as a result, but it was non-refundable, so we were out $736.20 before ever arriving. The facility is quite beautiful. A few major complaint- a pullout sofa bed instead of a regular bed is unacceptable to a frequent traveler for a room over $200.00. A full-sized bed is necessary. Also, the office mezzanine area is wonderful, but travelers also like to work in their rooms. No table, or at least higher stool chairs to use the countertop is a major miss. Lastly, if you are going to supply containers for shampoo, conditioner and body wash, please check them for operability, as the conditioner would not come out and the body wash was barely able to get out. The best part of the stay were the desk staff and cleaning people's demeanors. They are all terrific!

Lovely but odd communication

The most important thing to know about Kenect Phoenix is that it doesn't function like a regular hotel. As far as I can tell in the building there are co-working spaces, apartments and hotel rooms. It was almost like it was a collection of air-bnbs. One way that this effected me is that it doesn't have a normal front desk that is staffed 24-7, All check in and out information came via email. Also the phone number I had called a switchboard offsite that didn't know what wi-fi network or password to use. The room and building were very clean and in great condition. The concierges were very friendly. The kitchenette had plenty of dishes and cookware. It was almost like I had a temporary apartment, But like an apartment it wasn't clear who to call if I wanted another blanket or needed a hand.

Our room had a weird smell but other than that it was clean and everything worked. They have an in-unit washer and dryer and even provide detergent. Downtown PHX is rather industrial but there were a lot of good dining options within walking distance. We felt safe the whole time. The gym only had two treadmills and one of them wasn't working hence only 4 stars on the property condition.

A amenities. My room had atoaster, pans, real glasses, real silverware, vented hood.... Cons. - mattress in the junior studio was the best 4" of a mattress ever.... But hurts 45 year old bones. Overall though, A and would do again and again.
