We loved the hotel, the roominess of the extra living space. Our only complaint was we were planning to spend parts of two days at the pool lounging but were not informed the pool was closed for repair. The extra $30/nt resort fee seemed unnecessary due to the pool closure.

Carpet in room was stained, dirty. Bed was very uncomfortable. Bathroom sink water handles very difficult to use, very hard to turn hot water on. Ice machine not working in our floor. I don’t mind paying good money for a hotel…….but this place is way overpriced for what they offer.

Overall, the Sonesta Suites Gainey Ranch was an enjoyable stay. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, the pool and amenities are nice, the breakfast was plentiful and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. As many others have noted, the carpet in the rooms is in bad need of being replaced. It looks incredibly dirty, but I think it is just old.
