room had a chemical smell. Shower head leaked. no elevator to2nd floor. Complimentary "breakfast " is a processed muffin, a small yogurt and a fork. Who eats yogurt with a fork? Rear entrance to hotel has door that does not lock. Security risk. Staff seemed not to care about anything
the worst welcome I have ever seen in my life the lady must not be in front of the customers maybe she must not even be in front of humans I do not know why she works in a hotel the bed is made of fog almost when you breathe and the neighbors I thought they were with me in the room very bad insulation the cleaning ladies' carts start the circulation at 8am so no more possible to sleep
From the off-colored joke at the beginning of the hotel reservation, to the room that smelled like they were trying to cover the smell of pets or something worst, to the dirty sheets with hair and footprints on them, the dirty bath tub, dirty, grimy floor, I will never stay here or another “Super 8” again. Gross.
I booked the hotel after traveling on the road for 8 hours. When I got to the hotel they could not find the reservation. After about an hour on the phone with hotels.com they could still not resolve it. They did manage to take my payment. No I have to wait 7-10 days for a refund. I continued to drive another 6 hours until I made it home at 4 am.
It wasn’t the best but we had a place to sleep, we were gone all day anyways. And it’s the weekend stay and hotel rates were so expensive, so it wasn’t bad after all to save money.
The property seems in need of renovation and maintenance as many of the fixtures in the bathroom have rust showing through them and are of low quality, also no availability of breakfast or breakfast area other than a package muffin some water, coffee and low quality juice will not bring me back to this property.
Hotels.com post listed their pet fee for $10/night but I only found out that it was $25 after I paid the reservation. So I paid $30 extra for 2 nights.
The white old guy staff is very arrogant. Just because I had to repeat what he says coz I didn't hear it right, he treated me like I'm a dumb person. He probably thinks too highly of himself that much. I asked if he can honor the $10 pet fee posted in hotels.com but he told me to ask the manager the next day since he has no control over it. But for sure he knows I won't get a refund.
I talked to the middle-aged female manager the next day and she offered no help as well. She said that it's hotels.com's fault for they've changed their price. She pointed that fees on the wall. But I only found out about the higher pet fee after I paid for my reservation.
I told her that they need to update their pet fees in hotels.com and she said that it's not their fault even though the app only shows whatever info they've been given. She has no sympathy and lack any kind of care for customers. She's arrogant too.
Maybe this hotel's staffs are having a bad day.
I thought Super 8 being under Wyndham will be better than Motel 6. But nope. We always stay in cheap motels and this is the worst customer service, dirtiest and most sketchy place.
Bathroom ceiling has water stain. Light fixture is rusty. Front door light is going out.
Floor is full of soil. Linen is worn out. Hallway floor smells dog pee. It's like a squatters' area.
