Upon arrival the staff were competent, courteous, assisted within a couple of minutes. However checking into the room was another issue, previous guests clothes left in drawers, the room had not been thoroughly cleaned, stains on the bathroom vanity, bed was bouncy. We asked for a different room and they arranged no problems. Second room was very clean , bed was so so. I was not happy with the pet friendly status and then find out there was a non refundable pet deposit of $100! The hotel is outdated , I would not stay again. Also Expedia should put the non refundable pet deposit on the website .

Will Not Stay Again…

I’ve stayed at Millennium Hotels before with an amazing experience. This visit in Scottsdale was the furthest thing from amazing. The room was dirty. We had bugs on the wall and on the ceiling. They were hanging from webs. One of our double beds was completely destroyed. The middle of the bed was sunken in and extremely uncomfortable. I was traveling with my brother so there was no option to share a bed. The remote control in our room also did not work. After a long day of hiking we couldn’t wait to come back and go downstairs to eat at the hotel. Unfortunately, this experience was terrible also. We sat at the bar and after ten minutes we still weren’t greeted. I went to the front desk to ask if anyone was working. Ten minutes later a gentleman came out and got our drinks. We decided to stay because we were too tired to drive anywhere else. The food was horrible and not described like the menu stated. The chicken sandwich came with a sauce that was not listed on the menu. It was so spicy I couldn’t even eat it. I was thankful the bartender at least took it off our bill. The next night, a Friday night, the restaurant closed early. We found this inconvenient. Also, during our entire trip our entire floor smelled like weed. Not that I mind, but it was a nonstop smell. Lastly, the last two nights of our visit the elevator was broken. Again, inconvenient after a long day of hiking and then had to carry our bags downs three flights of stairs the morning of our departure.

The hotels around the area were a little pricy so I was a little hesitant when booking because the price was so low. I visited a nearby hotel, the staff was not as friendly and the atmosphere was not inviting. I really enjoyed my stay here and if I ever travelled back I would stay again.

Not a resort but a party hotel

The hotel is comfortable and the employees are very nice. However, hammering and painting were being done at 11:30 pm on several occasions. This glorified hotel seems to be the place to go for people that want to be loud and do things that more reputable resorts would not allow. There were also people sleeping in vehicles in the parking lot.
