I came to Phoenix because my sister was admitted to CCU at Deer Valley. My luggage did not make my connection with me in Chicago. When Southwest went to drop my bag off at the hotel they would not accept it, even though I had called and left a message (because they don't answer the phone in person after several tries) When the person from southwest who was dropping off my bag called to say they wouldn't accept it, I asked to speak to the desk clerk, who was rude. He said since I wasn't checked in there was nothing he could do. I said I was at the hospital, and explained my circumstances. He said no, I asked if he could just hold my 1 bag behind the counter, no, he said it wasn't secure, I said I didn't care, I wasn't able to leave the hospital, no. At this point I didn't know what to do. I told the man from southwest to return the bag to the airport and I would make arrangements to come and get it. I dont have a car here. He called me back and brought it to me at the hospital and said that the desk clerk was rude and unreasonable. He's had this happen before and never have they not accepted the bag. When I checked in much later that night I opened the refrigerator to find old food in it.
When my other sister checked in the next day, her bathroom was flooded. We had already decided to switch accomodations, she told them upon checking in, and they said ok, and wouldn't change the rate- from weekly to daily-they are now charging her for an entire week. Terrible awful
