Hotel is very clean and convenient location.
However, I would not stay here unless you like the sound of constant cars and booming music every hour of the night - we had a ‘city’ view which was just the busiest road. The soundproofing is not great and being a light sleeper it wasn’t great. House keeping was great can’t fault them, we had a cockroach in our room and they sorted it out.
I can’t say if the noise would be the same in other rooms.
The pool is disappointing, hardly any loungers and people left their towels on there so you never knew if they were taken or not. I would say the pool lets down the hotel as a whole and I can’t say it’s 5* standard. It’s also has a massive space with tape cornering it off making it look rather rubbish.
Great hotel if you are able to sleep through 4am wheel spins.
The Novotel across the road looked more appealing with a huge pool and further away from the road.
