A good buffet breakfast. Lots of beach opportunities, in appropriate season. Staff was friendly. Room is old but clean and otherwise it was good. It’s a quiet area with limited happenings, again, we were there in off season.

Good hotel

Nice and clean hotel with a big pool. The seaside is just a few steps away and there are always plenty of chairs to sit down. The staff is really nice and helpful. Just one disadvantage that our room didn't have a balcony, so nowhere to dry swimsuits or towels.

Grand Hotel was such a beautiful beachfront hotel. We had a view of the water and a quick walk to ample umbrella seats at the beach. It was a wonderful beach to visit during our trip to Italy! We were given an upgraded room that was available at no charge. Easy to walk to restaurants and delicious gelato. Great beach vibe with restaurants and bars right by the water!

The staff were excellent, however the hotel is dirty. It's an older hotel but just not kepted up. We could barely see through the window, years of built up dirt, side of the bed was filthy, bathroom wad dirty and the hotel has a bad smell.

We thought this was more of a beach type stay considering the pictures. They have a space in the beach that limits two upright chairs on the beach but you feel like you’re away from the beach. If you want to lay down for sun you have to pay 10euro per loungue chair and they squeeze it in to the already crowded area that’s designated for the hotel. Seems like they rent out a small section from a beach club to offer to its customers. The beds were very hard. Staff was not as friendly as we are used to in the hospitality business. The lady that checked us out was very nice. The man that checked us in didn’t explain much when we checked in. No towels are provided in the beach or the pool. You can use the room towels, but then have to ask for more towels. There is a fee of €30 to park daily in the hotel or you can park on the street and pay for street parking if you can find a spot since it gets pretty full during the day. Overall, it was an average experience. It wasn’t a terrible hotel. Maybe my expectations were higher than they should have been.

Strategic position and excellent services

Excellent stay. Strategic position nearby amenities and with direct access to the beach. Huge swimming pool with parasols and sunbeds included. Do you prefer relaxing at the beach? You have one parasol and 2 chairs at the posh Mary beach club. Room spotless cleaned with plenty of towels and frequent change of bed linen. Air condition individually regulated allows to chill the room to your like. Buffet breakfast with plenty of options. More fresh fruit would probably be desirable. Only minor let down was my room balcony which would benefit from a thorough clean. Staff very helpful.
