We stayed one night. The rooms are small but clean. The hotel is in a great location. It’s about 10 minutes from the airport and less than a 5 minute walk to the train station and taxi rank.

I always stay at Hotel La Pace ; I cannot fault it - staff are always so kind and helpful especially Federica. Rooms are also lovely , you can chose basic rooms or upgraded rooms but whichever you pick will be spotlessly clean as housekeeping is excellent . Breakfast is also outstanding ! The most delicious freshly baked cakes are incredible , just delicious ! There’s also a hot buffet selection which is great for us lot from the U.K. haha ! My favourite hotel in Pisa I get very upset when it’s booked up and miss my chance of staying . Grazie La Pace !

The room is very clean, good space, quick checking and all the staffs are friendly. The central train station is just 1 min by walking. You will find shops all around the hotel. The breakfast of the hotel is 5 stars. Will sure stay on the same hotel if come back to visit pisa. The Leaning tower is about 20-25 min by walking.

Nice room, friendly staff, great breakfast
The hotel is very beautiful when you walk inside. The front desk staff are nice and helpful. I want to especially thank Donatella. The AC in the room works well and keeps the room quite a nice place for sleep. Compated to similar 3 star hotels, the room lacks nothing specific. Only that my room didn't have a safe, but if like me you don't need one, the room is adequate. Wanna know the best part about this hotel? The breakfast!

Decent hotel but horrible AC
Note: we stayed in a unrenovated room .The location was very convenient extremely close to the train station. The location overall seemed a bit rough, but ai would not blame the hotel for that. The room was decent based on the price,considering the location, and there were no issues with cleanliness, although the room itself was old and in due of a renovation. We only stayed one night but the most obvious and crucial flaw was the AC. It seriously sounded like an jet engine in the room and was leaking water straight onto the floor forcing to place a towel on the floor. After a few hours of trying to sleep we managed to turn it off (after a while of trying), deciding that a warm room was better than this extreme noise. The noise was not constant either so you could fall asleep only to be woken up 10 min later when the sound drastically increased. I dont think that room was in any condition to be rented out without repairing the AC. As it was a one night stay we didnt ask for a repair immediately but I read a similar review before booking and ignored it.. I cant recommend anyone to book a room in the unrenovated rooms of the hotel based on my experience, but I believe they have renovated some rooms.

Really close to the station (1 min on foot). Very good and generous breakfast was provided. Room had everything (A/C, kettle, abundant space for clothes) and was immaculate but don't be fooled by the photos shown on Expedia! Most of the furniture of my room came directly from the '80s. So overall, 4/5

Perfect for the price
Hotel itself is charming and historic. Hotel staff were beyond friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect. Steps away from Pisa centrale train station, 20 min walk to leaning tower of Pisa and everything else we wanted to see. The rooms themselves were small, the bathroom walls could have used a decent wipe down, but the bedding was clean and the bed was comfortable. The A/C worked well but was loud. The BEST part of this hotel was the INCREDIBLE breakfast spread. I don’t think we have seen a spread like this anywhere we traveled. So many delicious options (even gluten free)! Hotel staff was happy to hold our luggage while we explored the city. Overall, our experience was great!
