I really liked that this property was close to PPG Stadium and that it had a small store with drinks and such in the lobby. The restaurant was nice as well but we didn't eat there only had one beer as it was super busy. The hotel could really be better with the cleanliness. Our room had definitely never seen a carpet shampooer and the corners in the bathroom have never been cleaned. Also the gym floor had not been cleaned as someone went in there with dirty shoes and it was there for a while. Also this hotel is "green" so they don't clean your room unless you ask - I was not impressed with this. They could do a better job taking care of long stay guests. They said they were going to clean our room on the third day and then never did. For the price I paid I would stay somewhere else. Beds weren't very comfy either.

Booked a room at the Cambria Hotel for a one-night stay to catch a Pens game. I booked through Hotels.com which the price was listed at $186 and some change for the night. I was charged $268 for the night at the hotel. Additionally the room was subpar. The blinds were broken and did not close. The cleanliness was an issue as well. The room had crumbs and such on the carpet and the bathroom, specifically the shower had left over hair from previous residents. It’s one thing to be over charged but if that’s the case the room better be spotless. There’s not complimentary breakfast, the only plus was it was a few steps from PPG Arena.

Holiday game trip
The room was spacious as we ended up with a handicap room. As was the bathroom. The bed did feel like I was sitting on a cardboard box. The bar sraff had to attend to the dining area and wasn't very attentive during the evening. Only a few patrons ar rhe bar including the night desk clerk. The breakfast wait staff were a bit busy, but not attentive to the orders taken. Missing items from the meal order. The hotel is close to the T which made it easy to get to the FB game.

I liked the area and the convenience. I loved the staff, they were all friendly and helpful. It was a very nice hotel, but my room had a sticky cup ring on the bed side table, no conditioner or body wash in the shower and no stirers for the coffee/tea in the room. The parking was nice and convenient, however it was kind of complicated. Though the charge is $35 it scares you with a rate of $99 as you leave, but the lady at the front desk warns you about this ahead of time. Also it is a wierd system of taking a ticket, though they give you a QR code to scan for in and out... but you have to scan your ticket and the QR code to get out, idk, it just seemed overly complicated. I kept having my validated QR code tell me it wasnt working.... but i finally was able to get out. Haha! Overall it was a nice place to stay for the price, and for being so close to downtown.
