New look, a little better

The breakfast included was good, just a few options but good enough. The hotel is going through a renovation so it’s been spruced up some since our last stay but carpeting is still old. The staff was kind and accommodating.

The remodeling work in multiple areas of the hotel has made it disgusting in many areas of the hotel. In addition, workers seem to be staying in the hotel and were sitting outside the hotel smoking both front and back. In the back, late at night (9:45?) the locked door was propped open with the standing ashtray they weren't even using. Terrible.

We found some things (used washcloth in the bathroom, unvacuumed floor, etc.) that were gross. It was late, and nothing was too egregious so we stuck it out. We just got out asap in the morning. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was good. We survived, but I wouldn’t choose this place again.

Arrived and greeted by friendly desk employee. Was told the internet was down and might be up the next day. Breakfast was decent, no real variety… same every day. Bathroom could have been cleaner… soap residue and chunks on sink. Shower area around the bar was gross. Beds were okay and pillows were comfortable. TV wall bracket was empty and a small tv was on the table. Room was nearly 80 degrees when we walked in.

The property appears to be in the process of remodeling. The room we stayed in seemed to be done, but there where some issues with the furniture being unstable and the TV was not mounted. You could hear the people upstairs but they were quiet after 10:30.
