Second time staying here and I must say. They're winning me over. Such a cool little hidden gem. Super friendly and professional staff. Comfortable and clean rooms. The breakfast is also great. It's the kind of place you wouldn't mind being snowed in at. Oh, on that note. Our room had an electric fireplace. Very nice touch. Well done!! Will definitely stay again.

Excellent hotel. Clean, recently remodeled room and nice breakfast bar. Pleasant surprise of what you see outside than what it looks as soon as step on the lobby.

The room itself was great, the lady who checked us in last night was great. The morning crew not so much. My husband and I never go out anymore and we had oir annual Christmas party which also happened to be on my birthday so we decided to book a stay and the deciding factor of where we were going to stay was wherr they offered breakfast..... But this morning nothing was made, the staff member said we were the only ones there so they weren't going to make anything.. I work in the service industry and you treat every customer the same no matter if they are the only ones especially if it is promoted online they provide breakfast. Also they could have made just enough then for 2 people didn't have to go all out just some eggs or even have the stuff to make a waffle out. But what do I know?

Decent place to stay
As long as you have a remodeled room, you're good to go. The bathroom in the room is great. Beds and pillows are comfortable. TV seems small for the room size. Breakfast is pretty basic but it's hot and free. The elevator was quite scary though. It shakes way too much for comfort.

We had problems with the bathroom. The sink did not have hot water or any pressure. The shower had barely any hot water. We had to use no cold water just so we had Luke warm water. When we reported it the first time the front desk worker told us it would be ok. When we got back the second day and asked if it was fixed, we were lied too and told yes. We complained again. Finally on our last night there they offered us another room and sent someone to fix the problem. The maintenance worker told us the sink could not be fixed and he wasn’t allowed to adjust the water in the shower.

They are attempting to update the hotel and are making odd choices. My room had a new bathtub and old, grimy floor tile. The exterior is busted. I actually thought it was closed when I arrived. I would skip this one in the future.

This is not my usual hotel of choice in Monroeville but was half the price of what I'd typically pay so I decided to step outside my comfort zone and give a new place a try. I was pleasantly surprised. The front desk staff was amazing and the room was beautiful and very comfortable. Will definitely stay again.
