The "accessible" room was only marginally accessible. while the doors were wide enough for a wheelchair, the rest of the features were lacking. Shower was neither walk in or roll in. A foot of elevation to step up and in. The commode had no handrails. the sink had a shelf beneath blocking access. Most importantly the bed was 30 inches tall making getting from wheelchair to mattress hazardous and nearly impossible.
Place was dirty, Phone did not work-Went to service desk immediately to report, Was told it would be replaced. I left for the day, Upon returning that night phone was never fixed or replaced. Phone not working was a big inconvenience for me. We all know- You get what you pay for so don't be surprised I was only in town for 2 days by myself so just needed a place to sleep.
Tried to make me pay an extra $60 deposit fee when i already paid for the room

I met a bad staff who wouldn’t let me into the lobby because his says his manager says so.
I stood in the cold till he checked me in for 9 minutes. My nose was bleeding and he didn’t care.
Very terrible staff with no empathy.
When the front desk man gave me my key card he he pointed in the direction of the room and when I tried to find it, I drove around three different times until I had to go back and get clear directions. The people in the room next to me were incredibly loud and at one point, they tried to get in my room I know that’s not the motels problem, but it was just annoying around two in the morning. I woke up with bites all over me and being extremely itchy I was very concerned so I called the front desk hoping they could change my room. They told me there was nothing they could do about it and to come down in the morning at eight. The next day I was in a rush to get out of there so I did not have time to stop at the front desk. I called and told the man that I had literally 30 bites all over me and was covered and bites and and so itchy and they might want to check the condition of their room. He just told me thanks for telling them didn’t do anything about it. The condition got worse and I called later that night thinking that maybe they would call me back give me a discount something. The lady seemed confused and told me that a manager would call me back so she took my number. They never called me back. I don’t know if it was bedbugs or spider bites but I have never been bitten up that much I’m pretty sure that the sheets were not clean from the previous desk because of the marks on them I will never stay in a hotel excuse me motel like this again
Check-in was a nightmare. I told the clerk that my mother was mobility-impaired and 99 years old and she cannot do stairs. The clerk said, Oh. So she has to be on the ground floor". Then told me there were no two bed rooms on the ground floor so my mother and I would have to share a King bed. I looked at the room she put us in (the far leftmost ground floor unit on the office side) and was appalled. The room from Hell! I immediately called expedia. Turns out, after the manager got there, that they have an elevator so upper floor 2 bed rooms were always accessible! Did the clerk think that being unable to take stairs meant you could not stand in an elevator? Wow! Wasted two hours waiting to get that resolved!
That upper floor 2 bed room was OK. At least it was warm.
