Avoid this property!!

Disappointed in this establishment!! TV in room not working, most fitness center equipment did not work, treadmill belt unsafe and warped, held together with duct tape, pool was nasty, no ice machine, just a heap of construction debris and trash where the ice machine was. How in the world did this place get a 7 out of 10 rating?? Smh!! Lobby/check in area was super hot, felt like a sauna, due to no AC,,overall terrible stay!! Will not consider this property in the future,was told by a desk clerk that all they could do for us was not charge us for parking,, which is another issue,$22 for parking per day!! STILL can't get a manager to call us back to confirm we won't be charged for parking like we were told,,

i told staff wifi was not working for a whole day and they kept telling me to use password and i did the manager came into my room the next day and told me the wifi box was broken and moved me to another room after a whole two days of my stay

Hotel was good but staff wasn’t

Staff was quite rude, no bedding available for sofa beds.. expectedly charged parking however it was showing free on hotel.com.. parking charg was overpriced.. There were on 3 towels in the room however we booked room for 6 people and when we asked they said they don’t have it…

Horrible stay. Booked a mobility room for my mom in May and was told that my parking would be waived due to hotel construction. At check in, I was denied both. We got assigned to a regular room. I pulled back the sheets, to find them dirty and stained. Tried to call the main desk for help, room phone doesn't work, it says room 610, my room is on 5th floor. Needless to say wrong phone was in my room. I go back down to the front desk to request Housekeeping to change linen on the bed and was told parking would be waived. I called to complain to Expedia they offered me $50 and also said, hotel parking was waived for my inconvenience. So today I'm searching for a luggage cart only to find out that there is only one for the entire hotel, so I had to use mom's rolater as the luggage cart. Then the elevator gets stuck on the 5th floor. Autistic person, is standing inside, I get him out.l walk the hall, find the house keeper, who was able to contact maintenance for help. I go to check out, my bill was higher then expected, the clerk claimed she didn't know why, and I would have to check with Expedia. I asked for a print out of my bill. She couldn't provide that either. I asked to have the manager call me. Guess what, they charged me for parking, they only waived one day. I was reimbursed. After this awful experience, I feel that my room should have been FREE!! I will never stay here again. It was The Worst Experience that I ever had in my life.

No air conditioning in hallways or lobby, the room was not clean. Socks were left in the room from the previous guest. The hotel was not typical of other holiday inns we have stayed at. There were many lights out in the elevators, there was no inspection certificate in the elevators.

I usually travel alone and when I came back at night the gate to enter was up. Also the door not locked to back entrance. Which I quickly found out the Salvation Army and a rehab place was right across. In the morning when leaving a man laying on the sidewalk assuming homeless across the street. I was not aware of this when booking. I'm really glad I wasn't by myself, doubt I'll ever stay again.

All carpet needs true vacuuming. Shower needs a scrub. Mopping dirty floors just smears around the dirt. No air conditioning in lobby / breakfast area for our five day stay. Cheerful energetic young staff could possibly benefit from skilled supervision. When we reported frig not working, it WAS corrected within 30 minutes.

I did not like the 100.00 fee for incidentals which multiple people complained about it especially for a 1 day stay, in addiiton the air conditioning was broken in the lobby so it was sweltering when you first walk in.

This hotel was one of my worst hotel experiences to say the least. I was made aware that the parking isnt free like advertised on expedia. The manager was rude and pulled the pass out of my hand when I was calmly explaining my situation was told to park behind the hotel but stay out there lot because they will tow me. Then seen worker using leaf blower in parking lot blowing trash out of the lot and intoa and all over the back street where my car was parked which I took pictures. My hotel bathroom stunk of something pungent as if it were just in use. Front door to room would work when it wanted I had to swipe several times anytime I had to enter. Air conditioner was so loud it was hard to get any sleep. Homeless and drug addicts wandering around the hotel grounds sleeping by the front door circling in the street at night outside the entrance of the hotel and back lot. Rear security door is broken does not lock allowing anyone to enter the hotel unnoticed. Overall I will never use this hotel again and urge anyone thinking about coming here to reconsider spend a little more money and avoid this place at all costs.I love pittsburgh and enjoy everything the city has to offer but my hope is that this hotel closes its doors and leaves the hotel business to the locations that actually try to provide a welcoming and safe enviroment.

I am not usually one to leave a review but our shower was dirty, the bed spread was ripped up, the pool water was thick and foggy. There was also some industrial noise in the pool area that never stopped. A fire alarm battery was dead and the alert went off in the hallway the whole time. The man checking us in was a little rude. I will say the morning breakfast was pretty good.
