We were really disappointed. To begin with the furniture was ridiculously uncomfortable. There wasn’t one comfortable chair! The sofa cushions were much too wide to sit comfortably. There were no vending machines or ice machines. Your water is undrinkable and there was no bottled water available to buy. It had a full kitchen, but where were we supposed to buy groceries? There were no flyers telling us of nearby restaurants or things to see. What the heck? If someone has a diabetic crisis and needs a little sugar, an empty refrigerator is no help. It was located conveniently to the music hall, but no maps provided. After a 5 hour drive, a little comfort would have been nice. Huge disappointment. I would never recommend it.
The space of the room was very nice the attendant at the desk was not rude but not friendly either the room itself was not cleaned properly trash and food that the last guest had were all over the room stains from food were all over whoever cleaned the room just glanced over so much it was a real disappointment from what I expected my experience to be
The unit I stayed in was fantastic, but check-in was a mess. They gave me a key to a room that was already occupied—clearly, they had no idea who was in which room. Dealing with that at 1:30 in the morning was the last thing I wanted!
The hotel rooms were massive because they’re large studio apartments and they are decorated well. The game room was elegantly done. The amenities at the property were unbelievable with a full actual gym for the property. If I lived in the area I would cancel my regular gym membership and go here instead.
This app caused our reservation to be cancelled. We then got a room and were given keys to an occupied room with someone in bed and unpacked watching tv. We ran out and back to the front desk and were told “that happens a lot”. We finally got a room, it was nice, just absurd process
We were traveling to Pittsburgh with our adult daughter, and the two-bedroom unit gave us a great way to stay together but to have our own rooms. The living room and the kitchen were great to have, as was the washer and dryer in the unit. The place was very functional, but very stark too--bare bones in terms of furnishings and kind of "cold" feeling. But the employee working the front desk was AMAZING--super kind and helpful and welcoming. So a great place to stay in downtown Pittsburgh, but don't expect any ambiance.
We got to the property and it was terrible. It was dimly lit in the parking garage and facility. We made our way to the lobby and were about to check in when the man at the front desk left us in the middle of checking in. There were constant obnoxious and disturbing people coming in and out of the lobby while we were standing there with our luggage. Unfortunately we did not make it to the room as right then and there we booked a room at the Fairmount hotel right around the corner, which was much nicer and professional, but I’m sure the rooms and subsequent service at Etage would have matched what we received in the lobby. Furthermore when we were making our escape from this hotel, there was a line of cars trying to exit the tight and narrow parking garage, adding to the chaos and confusion of our short visit with seemingly no one to help around. About 10 minutes later a parking attendant finally came to operate the gate and charge us $10.
it was good....got checked in Friday night but the desk must not have confirmed our check in because they had us a a no show on Saturday and they had us as not there. i got that cleared up that night so we thought.....then on Sunday they didn't have us in the system again as being there. Either way we stayed and it all worked out. We like it there and will go back again
Spacious rooms that could be lived in. Clean, comfortable and located right in downtown. Just don’t park there as the height restrictions is 6’3” and the gate always messes up to let you out
