Toilet seat was melted. TV remote was physically broken. The safety latch on the door was broken off. Carpet was ragged and torn.

When i checked in amd went to my room the air conditioner did not work the toilet didnt flush and the fridge didnt work. My girlfriend and i waited for awhile and about 2 hours later i went down to the lobby and talked to the girl at the front desk. She was so nice! She was angry that we were inconvenienced she moved us to the suite.
This hotel is very outdated and in need of upgrades and maintenance. Bathroom fan cover was hanging by one screw, unfilled holes from shower rod adjustment, shower head was leaking, and torn carpet. It’s basically stuck in 1990.
Rooms are extremely dirty. A 4 night stay and the room was never serviced (trash not emptied, no fresh towels). Halls were constantly filled with trash from other rooms. backup door lock was broken and replaced with outdated chain type lock. Desk was so flimsy I was afraid to use it for laptop. Desk person walked around in house slippers and a dirty t-shirt. for $300+/night (US Open week) on this trip they could do much better.
Over all the staff was great.The issues fall on the condition of the rooms.The toilet seats were beyond disgusting.It would of been more appealing to just
take the seats off completely.They were cracked,stained,&peeling.The bathrooms stunk kinda musty&moldy.
But the beds were actually very comfortable.They have alot of repairs&upgrades to work on.
Friendly staff at front desk, however, room was filthy and not well maintained. Mouse poop on bed, food on floor, bathroom was disgusting, stunk like stale smoke, refrigerator was dirty with spills, everything in the room was stained, slimy and/or sticky.
The place smelled like mold, there was only a hand towel provided. Tile was cracked in and outside of the bathroom, and there was a hole in the wall underneath the desk. The bed was clean, but not much else regarding that.
It was the worst a Terrible experience. I would never suggest this hotel at this location for any of my friends and I would never book my stay with this hotel in this location anymore. Worst.
Would not recommend. Mold and rust in the bathroom and very rundown. The lock on the door was broken. Hard to get a good night of rest when you’re concerned about cleanliness and safety.
I stayed in the Quality Inn and Suites at 8 Landings Drive, Pittsburgh, PA and it was the worst hotel experience of my life. It is advertised as a non smoking facility, which is absolutely not the case. The entire building, including our room, smelled of cigarette smoke. When I asked the front desk about cancelling my reservation upon checking in because of the smell of the hotel, I was told there were no refunds. Against my better judgment and not wanting to lose the $190 I paid already, my family and I checked in to our room. Throughout the night, our room continued to smell worse of cigarette smoke and eventually smelled of marijuana. There was also a bug on my pillow. Do not stay here!
I did not like anything of it. Not Spacious. Soon you enter into hotel from the front desk you feel it is too tight. Very bad smell soon entered into hotel. Carpets are new and clean. That's the only positive I found in the hotel.
The bathroom sink did not work well. The water is not cleaned right away. It takes ages for the water to drain away. Food is not at all good. No fruits at all. Not many options for a vegetarian.
