We had a city view room and the view was excellent! The trains were not too bad, considering they were right outside the window- I certainly heard them when I was awake, but they didn't wake me during the night. It would have been nice to have a towel hook or towel bar to hang our wet towels on.

It's a nice, conveniently located hotel. Parking is self-park only and is quite expensive. My first night, I loved my room and view but the carpet in half the room was wet from some malfunction. Then a dog was barking non-stop from a nearby room. I asked to be moved to a different room for my 2nd night. The room was on a higher floor but smaller and the toilet was comically small, like a child toilet low to the ground. The next day as I was checking out, all of the furniture was covered in plastic. I asked why and was told it was to protect it from stains from a convention of bodybuilders who tend to slather themselves with spray-tan. I wouldn't be too pleased as a guest checking in to see that. So I would stay here again but warn that it really seems to depend on many factors. But ALL of the staff, from front desk receptionists to bartenders to housekeeping were friendly and professional.

The hotel was nice overall and the view of the Ohio River was great. I had a food delivery problem. The driver said they gave it to the front desk but the desk did not have it. Also they will not bring deliveries up so you have to pick them up yourself. It was a bit inconvenient.

Booked a City View. The trains were always running and it was noisy on the 10 floor. Room was old and poorly maintained. Hard to achieve a black out situation with old curtains. Difficult to believe this was a Marriott property. We moved rooms twice.
