Room was clean and in excellent condition - apparently they have totally renovated since earlier reviews that mentioned severe problems. The exterior could use some paint, but the room was perfectly clean and fairly spacious. All the little things, like good A/C, shower temp/pressure, a working mini-fridge, etc., were completely fine. Complaints: I couldn't get the WiFi to work. Also: it's not in the most scenic part of Pittsfield, but it's just minutes from the nicer areas, and a short walk to fast food or decent chain restaurants like Friendlys, Applebees, and Starbucks.

The lobby was in poor shape. The desk was unattended but a phone call brought staff help after approx 5 min wait. The property was in an industrial area and looked a bit unkept. On the bright side, the room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the a/c was in good working order. It’s an ok place to crash for a decent night’s sleep.

This place was very rundown extremely dirty everything smells like smoke. The room was 90 bucks so I was not expecting much but this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Front door is locked you have to biz the door to get to the front desk.

The room was ok, and the bathroom was clean and functional but the toilet leaked water from the tank when I flushed it in the morning. I mentioned it and it seemed they had been unaware. The bed was very comfortable and we made use of the refrigerator. There was also a microwave so it would have been handy had we stayed longer. The A/C was on strong and I didn't realize there was a control thermostat on the opposite wall so I unplugged the A/C. In the morning the floor was wet so it must had dripped water in the night. I mentioned that too when we checked out. With a bit of attention, it could be a nicer spot.

This hotel presents actual and serious health hazards. As we tried to follow the unhelpful directions to room 230 offered by an impatient clerk, we approached a crumbling cement stairwell where a huge pile of vomit was gathering flies. A foot away, a broken shopping cart filled with garbage, including a hauntingly broken infant carseat, blocked the passage. We stepped around these, following the non-consecutively numbered doors - each covered with layers of greasy dirt and trash underfoot. We never found the room. We opted to drive over three hours to get home rather than allow our clothing or skin to touch any surface. Seriously a place nightmares are made.

We had booked a Non-Smoking room, but when we entered the room it was heavy with cigarette smoke. When I politely complained, the staff said that: People smoke outside. / Rooms nearby allow smoking. / Smoke can seep into the room. They did eventually find an alternate room for us that didn't have any cigarette smoke, and it was comfortable. But I had to argue (I stayed calm and polite) to get the kind of clean-air room that I had originally booked. Not good.
