Fran & Mike were very welcoming and fabulous hosts, the breakfast was really good and freshly home cooked. The setting was idyllic, with a beautiful outside area for summer evenings. The room was beautiful and the shower amazing. We stayed as a stopgap between Yosemite and San Francisco but it is ideally located to sample all the wineries in the area.
We loved this B&B and Mike and Fran are great. They make you feel like family. Breakfast, desserts were amazing! Great location for Placerville, wineries and golf. B&B was beautiful, comfortable and fun
I surprised by husband with a night stay at North Canyon B&B and we absolutely loved it! Mike and Fran greeted us as we arrived and were so nice and accommodating. We stayed in the Ponderosa Pine room and it was spacious, clean and very nice! The shower was especially awesome. I would definitely recommend staying here. It is pricey but I would say definitely worth it!
We were in town for a High School Reunion in Shingle Springs, and wanted to try somewhere new. We forgot until after booking that it would be peak tourist time for Apple Hill. But due to out plans in Placerville/Shingle Springs, we left early enough in the morning, and returned late enough in the evening, that traffic wasn't an issue for us. It would be a perfect location if Apple Hill was our destination.
