Our stay at Vertali was made truly special by the outstanding customer service. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our vacation memorable. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we felt cared for and appreciated. A very special thank you to Kiki, whose kindness, professionalism, and positive energy stood out every single day. She consistently went above and beyond and made us feel like valued guests rather than just another room number. I’d also like to recognize the incredible breakfast team. Their friendliness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Exceptional service is what transforms a great hotel into an unforgettable experience, and the team at Vertali did exactly that. The breakfast was awesome

Everything was fantastic

This was a lovely hotel and the staff were courteous, extremely attentive and very kind. Have to mention Manos who went out of his way many times to help us and nothing was too much trouble for him. He was an absolute star and we are very grateful for his help. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful beaches and very close to Chania. Our room was very clean, a little dark due to not getting any sun on the balcony, but this did keep it cool. It is a small hotel and we felt the only negative was it was very quiet at night, but many people would prefer this anyway. The area itself is fairly quiet at night as many people go into Chania. There is a bus to Chania a couple of minutes walk round the corner, it can get very busy. Noticed the sign on the bus said 31 people seating, up to 59 standing so at times it is not the most pleasant journey. Bus journey takes about 15/20 minutes. The pool area was very well managed, better than i have seen at some other hotels. There was never a fight for beds as the hotel staff remove used towels and replace with fresh new ones, so there was a turnover all day. It is adults only which makes it very peaceful. Breakfast was ok and there is something differant to try every day. You order from a menu rather than a buffet situation.

My overall impression of that hotel: Never again! The attitude of the staff does not correspond to a 5* hotel, but rather a cheap hostel. "All-inclusive" statement is false - only cheap and low level drink is included. Any normal wines and cocktails are at the additional cost. Shouts and attitude of the local staff are just killing the vacation mood.
