Hi,everything was great except the clerk who charged me an extra fee when I checked in 8 hrs later upon arrival. The room wasn’t ready. They were supposed to call me when it was ready, and I never heard back from them.

Had to switch rooms in the middle of the night because the ac was broken. The second room wasn’t any better but didn’t feel like going through the hassle of moving again. A la cart restaurants were pretty good but the buffet options were ok. Some construction going on and the gym and a few other spots seems to have been moved with any clear signage. The pools were really nice along with friendly staff. The drinks were not very good which resulted in me going out to buy my own alcohol for my stay. Overall it wasn’t horrible for a weekend stay but I wouldn’t go back unless it was an amazing deal.

I loved the swim up room, i basically had my own private pool. The staff were friendly and attentive, nice wild life and delicious food ans drinks, highly recommend this hotel. Ill be back!

We were not told of the seaweed issue, the Ocean was inundated with it. there was zero access to the ocean water. The pools were run down. The amenities were very dated.

The staff in the restaurants, bellboys, etc. were very kind and attentive. The thermostat in my room went out, someone immediately came to fix it, but when I returned to my room, the new thermostat had shorted and my room was full of smoke and smelled like an electrical fire. I called the desk, told them what I found and asked for another room. The man said that they'd need to see if they could fix it. I explained that there was no way I was staying there since the smoke was burning my eyes, etc. A very nice gentleman came up, called someone and confirmed that I will need a new room. I waited in the hall for about an hour (until 11pm) until someone came to show me to my new room. The next morning, I saw there was nothing in the mini fridge, no beach towels (my other room came with 2), and no robe and slippers. I called the desk and was told they'd come with the water for the fridge, that this room does not come with a robe or slippers, and that I would need to go to the lobby (which is quite a walk away), ask for a card that I have to then exchange for towels. I explained how my room got switched and that these amenities came with my other room. The lady said I was downgraded and that was that. The lobby wouldn't give me new cards for towels since I never had a card to begin with! It took over 3 hours and constant explaining of the smoke in the room, etc. for them to believe that I just wanted the amenities I paid for returned to me. Communication was poor.

It was our first time staying at this resort. We were very nervous because of the under construction reviews. But when we arrived the staff were friendly and welcomed our group great. Buffet was good. Room service was great. Our rooms were very clean and AC worked. The beach was pretty bad with sargassum, but we went out during the day to do activities outside the resort or enjoyed the pools. WiFi had some glitches. Our last night we had a problem with our room door not unlocking, but they fixed it pretty fast. The resort needs some updates and I’m pretty sure it will be very nice once they’re done with construction. One thing avoid some staff that try to set you up for a “welcome Cancun tour” and then offer timeshare. Don’t waste your time. They have taxi services there. Prices are fair. Overall the kids and my parents enjoyed it.

Over priced for quality of service and a lot of the food. reservations for dinners were mostly good but not consistent with quality from day to day. the free spa treatment you get from booking with expedia was no real treatment at all. about 10 minute foot rub in a very uncomfortable wood chair that does not adjust. so boo on expedia and this place for that. saying you will get a free spa day when booking a 2 week vacation. feel kinda jipped. ive had much better all inclusives for cheaper and a few days longer still. would have been nice to know half the resort is under construction. grounds were pretty and wildlife was nice but thats about it.
