Love this property and I've stayed here multiple times per year since 2018. I had an unfortunate experience this last trip, with the front desk guy, who basically harassed me by text message after I departed, because I didn't tip him for holding my cell phone at the front desk when I left it in the room after check out. He was new(er) to the team and I don't know what staffing changes they have had there...but that left a very sour taste in my mouth and I don't know if I will ever return to Green Oasis. It takes a lifetime to build trust and loyalty and seconds to lose it....Very unfortunate incident and perhaps Green Oasis Management should look at the type of people they are hiring to staff the front line guest experience. You don't get tipped for doing what's right....and you don't keep loyal customers by harassing them after they check out.

Nice hotel and friendly staff... nive location inside Playacar. Just the breakfast and the forniture (dresser) could be a little bit better. Some fruits, ham and cheese. Have no TV ans no refrigerator in the rooms, but have a nice comunity kitchen there.

Very secure and safe property. The property/rooms are very clean, although the rooms smell a bit musty. That is to be expected with all the humidity in the air. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a very good experience, and would return.

This wasn't our first stay. Needless to say, it was a choice that we have chosen to repeat. That is an endorsement in its own right. The location is great- a quiet "oasis" in Playa del Carmen. Within walking distance of 5th Ave, and all the nightlife, restaurants, and shopping.

Love staying at this property! Very accessible to everything in Playa. Salvador at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. Very pleasant stay. I recommend this hotel for a pleasant and very affordable stay.

Nice place to stay in Playacar
This is a nice place to stay in Playacar. It is not very close to a beach entrance if you are walking, however driving it is close to the beach and playa del carmen. Staff ver friendly, check in was easy, there is on site parking, the pool is nice, a bit small. I stayed in the front house second floor first room up the stairs. Room was confortable, bed was nice, towels and TP were provided but nothing else. Good thing we brought our own bathroom products- shampoo/ cond/ soap etc. The shower was very roomy and pressure was very very good, BUT the shower head had a lot of rust on it and did find a few creepy crawlers which wasn't the best to find. We only stayed one night and it was good. The price i thought was good for the value. However it is almost impossible to get hold of anyone from the staff by phone or email. Please if someone is readng this from Oasis please provide me with an email where you can be reached or a phone that someone will actually pick up. The one provided no on ever answers. Thanks.

Wonderful Vacation Stay
I have only wonderful comments to offer about this location. The staff is fabulous, all going the extra mile, especially Salvador who takes special care to learn his guests and offer information about the area. The location really feels as if you are welcomed into a home. The rooms are tidy, bathrooms nicely designed and clean, having a newer look. The environment and surrounding area are well situated to restaurants and local corner store. This is a gated community and safety is surly guaranteed. The breakfast is simple, a light snack to get you started for the day. I will certainly be staying here again on my next visit!

Quiet and safe hotel.
It was a pleasant stay at Green Oasis for me. The place is safe and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. Especially, Salvador, the receptionist and Esmeralda, the maid. It is far walk to the beach, so I had to take a taxi to and from the beach. Luckily, there are few restaurants, OXXO store and the pastry shop in the waking distance, just down the street. I did have a little incident with towels. I smeared two of those and had to pay $20 and 20 pezos, so it is best to have your own towel. I bought a wrap for the beach in Playa Mart in downtown.

Very nice place, two converted houses to a more-or-less B&B in the upscale, private neighborhood of Playacar next to Playa Del Carmen. The breakfast was nothing to write home about, but most everything else was quite nice. There are issues with taxis being allowed in to pick people up (no problem with taxis taking you back). The issues can be resolved with a little work. The staff doesn't speak English, but who cares, it's their country. It was fine, would stay again. The gentleman that heads up the staff was very helpful with all little issues that might have come up.

I really enjoyed my stay at Green Oasis Home.Its located in a residential and quiet area.Very clean and spacious rooms.The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful.Just keep in mind its about 20 mins walk from Playa del carmen city centre but you can easily rent bikes or motorbikes for cheap.I totally recommend.

Overall this is indeed a quiet little oasis when you're looking for a no-thrills, pleasant stay. The property is lovely but the room was a bit too basic - the bed might be a little too small for two if you're taller than average, also the bed's head frame was a plastic thing that keeps knocking when you move around and the shower has seen better days. The staff is friendly but not always available but we knew that beforehand. Breakfast can become a bit boring after a week and we didn't know we could order eggs until the 4th day - it would've been nice if someone told us earlier ;) It's a 20 minutes walk into town of PDC, so a car or bicycle definitely helps but unfortunately there's no bicycle rent from the property.

The staff at Green Oasis made my stay so comfortable and relaxing. I really enjoyed the hotel - it felt exactly like home. I loved that it was quiet, and that there were few other guests - the living area felt like I was in my own living room too. The pool was nice (WiFi was fast as well). If you are looking for a safe, quiet, clean and comfortable place in the PDC area, stay in PlayaCar. I wish I had known that Green Oasis was open - it’s a gem. The King bedroom with the balcony was great too - water pressure in the bathroom worked well, and the closets were huge. Thank you!

No one there for check-in
Hotel was informed of possible late arrival and hotel acknowledged by email prior to our departure for Playacar. When we arrived shortly after 9 pm there was no one there to check us in and we waited until 1015 pm at the property. We were forced to book a room at another site at considerable expense and we had prepaid for the room at the Green Oasis. Our holiday did not start on a very good note and we sent an email the next day to the resort but we received no reply. We had no interest in pursuing this issue while we were on holiday and we are now back home and this is the first of several notes which will be sent to the hotel and Expedia.
