It’s not a place where you would spend a lot of time inside your hotel room. But I strongly recommend it. There are many shopping stores and many restaurants walking distance. The Hotel is right next to the beach and from the restaurant you can view the ocean. Security is great and convenient is a big plus! Many activities in surroundings

Great location and service

Great location and service. Sadly there was seaweed on the beach so couldnt really enjoy it fully. The other beach was completely clean, so hope the seaweed will be dealt with the same way as at Mamitas beach. What I did not enjoy is having one socket in the room placed in a very strange location. Hope this will be looked into at some point as it would really improve the stay

Great stay! My only critique is for the Hotel to implement that the 24-hr security guard have access to the master key to rooms in the event an hotel guest accidentally locks themselves out of their room. This happened to me one night after the front desk was closed (which was 11p) and I couldn’t get back into my room until the front desk reopened at 7a. Luckily, I had a friend who was staying nearby and I was able to sleep there but I would have much rather stayed in the room I paid for. Nonetheless, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and recommend it.

Not what was advertised

This is property has gated access and you need to buzz in and out each time. This may make you feel safe, but the question is - why is this required? The room was really basic and despite being advertised as a sea view you couldn't see it unless you climbed up and stood on the top of a wall. No balcony, despite the description. instead the room opened out onto an open walkway which was a right of way to others rooms - no privacy whatsoever. And despite saying the cost included all taxes, we were charged additional tax at check-in, where you were also told if you tried to hang anything out to dry you would be fined. We were not allowed to leave the premises at check-out until the room had been inspected for breakages and anything stolen (not that there was anything you wanted to take). The aircon was on/off, no alternative settings and you only had a sheet on the bed so we had to pile towels on top of us to keep warm in the night. It was unbearably hot if the aircon was turned off. The paths there so uneven you couldn't wheel a case - you had to carry it. So many up and down steps to get to the room, really not suitable for anyone who isn't a circus performer.

I loved the way the rooms were built around a central courtyard of trees and seating areas. The white of the surface walls was warm and welcoming. The property had the calm and comfort of an older property — the taste of an older property — I do not at all mean ‘older’ in the sense of dated. The full and large bookcase in the lobby was a pleasure to see. I had good help in arranging a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, and immediate response to a change in arrival that I had to make. Thank you for being such a special place — an oasis even though so close to the activity of 5th Avenue.

We love the fact that the property is right there on the beach. It's very easy to walk from our room to the beach. We really enjoy the daily breakfast too. It's nice to have bottles of water in the room, and the "welcome" drinks. We plan to return to this property, as we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!!

Beautiful place. Easy checkin..staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was super. My only comment is its hard carrying 50 pound luggage up the 3 flights of stairs as there is no elevator. Also we were unsure that the entrance was the long hallway..there should be a sign pointing to reception.

The staff were all friendly and had a lot of good information and generally pleasant and helpful. The property is beautiful and clean. The view from my balcony was fantastic and I loved my room. The included breakfast was good. Despite it being right off Quinta Avenida it was quiet and peaceful.
