Worst vacation of my life
I wouldn’t recommend a single thing from our stay. We came here for our honeymoon and experienced cockroaches, then fumigation with no warning or consideration for my pregnant wife. Along with water coming in from the ceiling, little to no action from staff when that was reported- to an “upgraded room” for our last night that ended up flooding. Two days of our trip was wasted recovering from the dirty water we were served. Very dangerous and disappointing stay. I strongly regret coming here. Save your money and go elsewhere! Also- be wary of the “vacation consultants” that greet you upon arrival. They will push you to meet with them the very first thing and agree to a 90-minute timeshare sales pitch. They care much more about sales than customers actual experience.

Stay over all was pleasant. Entertainment staff including Liam and Celeste were amazing. Pool floor was rough and could cut your feet open. They did not have enough waiters around pool area. Room was comfortable and cleaning service did a good job. Towel guy at the pool was always in a bad mood. Food options are great if you in fact like Mexican food. However, sitting at non reservation restaurants was tragic to say the least.

Had an amazing experience here for our Honeymoon! Bartenders were very nice and excellent service. We had a Junior suite but got upgraded to to a room with a swim up pool thank you to Leslie !! Doesn’t provide transportation to hotel from the airport and back which kind of sucks but use the link that they provide for you ! Everything was wonderful and would recommend staying here. Most definitely will be back 😊

I Loved our experience here. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff are so kind and helpful. The food is delicious. The blue moon restaurant was by far my favorite culinary experience and the manager there was awesome. Karina was so helpful and created something truly special for my husband's birthday. Andrea at the front was the best! She was so helpful and provided us with so much support during our stay. Juan was a great server it made for a great experience at The Steakhouse. Our housekeeping lady Sylvia made our stay so special with her sweet nature and attentiveness. Arturo was so fun! He always made us laugh and have a good time at their scheduled activities. These people made our stay so special. It was because of these amazing humans that we had an experience we will never forget.

This resort should not be labelled as 5 star. Rooms are not to standard, pools seemed dirty, service was sub par. One thing that stood out was the fact that the buffet was not filled regularly. There were items we could never have bc they were not filled. So busy and crammed seemed like staff could not keep up.

We loved the staff and the service was great. The music at the pool was little irradiating. We had very noisy guest next door at night partying until early morning hours but the staff dealt with all our issues promtly.

I recently stayed at the El Beso Adults-Only section of Ocean Riviera Paradise in Playa del Carmen, and it was a mostly enjoyable experience. Check-in was smooth and efficient, thanks to a wonderful lady at the El Beso counter who made us feel welcome from the start. The staff were friendly throughout, with team members like Azael contributing to a warm and helpful atmosphere, which added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. The suite itself was clean and comfortable, though there were a few maintenance issues that could be improved. The sink vanity was visibly warped, and the sinks leaked through holes in the P-traps, which was a minor inconvenience. Unfortunately, the main pool near the beach area was taped off for construction during my stay, limiting the lounge space on the beach, which was disappointing. Additionally, while some of the bar staff were attentive and friendly, others were less responsive, occasionally leaving guests waiting for service. In terms of guest diversity, I would have appreciated a broader mix of visitors, as I noticed very few guests of similar backgrounds, which did impact the social atmosphere somewhat. Overall, El Beso provides a pleasant adults-only experience with comfortable accommodations, friendly staff, and areas for improvement that could enhance future stays.
