We would give the hotel a 5/5 if the location was close for walking. We did walk to the closest mall, but found it tough carrying groceries etc. that far.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The property was exceptionally quiet, providing a peaceful atmosphere for a relaxing stay. The rooms were spacious and equipped with full-service kitchens, which made it easy to prepare meals during my stay. Additionally, the availability of laundry facilities was a huge plus, especially for those who prefer to travel light. Breakfast each morning was warm and satisfying, offering a good start to the day. As someone who enjoys walking, I found that the 30-minute walk to Playa del Carmen was quite manageable, though it's worth noting that this is the only way to access the beach. Unfortunately, there isn’t a closer beach access, which would have been more convenient. While I wouldn't personally want to stay directly in Playa del Carmen due to the busy atmosphere and nightlife, the hotel's location worked well for me. The area around the hotel has a mall and grocery store nearby, making it easy to grab necessities. Taxis are readily available, and the MTS adventure brokers within the building are a great resource for planning excursions. While I would have preferred the beach to be a little closer or perhaps a walking trail through the nearby golf course, overall, my stay was enjoyable and met my needs. I would stay again.

Served breakfast. Had a gym. Full kitchen in the room. Facilityto do laundry. All of the staff were fantastic. Only issue was the distance to 5th Ave, which was a 2 mile walk one way or $10 for a taxi. Overall a great place to stay. I would stay here again.

The sheets were really conducive to a great sleep! Rooms were spacious and excellence housekeeping. We had a look at breakfast and nothing was that worthy of eating. The location means you're forced to take taxis and the taxis will play their usual fee jacking up game. For reference, you can get a taxi from the street to Xplor for 100 mxn but you'll be left on the opp side of the street. In the hotel, it's at least 200. There's nothing around the hotel and you are limited to buying basics from their mini market at the lobby. The staff are hit and miss (we were not told the direction of our rooms and dragged our luggage for ages in the wrong direction without the front desk saying anything until we back tracked and they apologised). But on the whole, they do their best to assist.

Hotel is a little far away from downtown and sometimes not easy to get transportation. Gym was fantastic. Roof is nice but pool is small. Rooms and amenities were just okay.
