The hotel is small, but it has everything you need to have a good time. The entire staff is very attentive and friendly—from the entertainment team to the waiters, bartenders, porters, and the beach shuttle driver. It was a wonderful experience, and I can't wait to return.

This hotel is not on the water, but they have a 10 minute shuttle that takes you to their beach club that has a restaurant, drinks, beach and pool all with lunge chairs. quiet place with plenty of chairs and room without being crowded at both the hotel and beach club. less kids then at other resorts.

Riu Lupita was boring and very quiet, with mostly older guests and no real vibe. As a person of color, I didn’t see any diversity, which felt uncomfortable. The resort felt outdated and low budget you definitely get what you pay for. I switched resorts after one day because staying longer would’ve ruined my trip.

This is a great location, quality and price point if you like a quieter all inclusive experience......as long as you are ok not being on the beach. You can take their free shuttle to their beach access which has free buffet food and drink there or you can walk there in about 30 minutes. The onsite swimming pools appear clean and nice. They have a smaller "quiet" pool which lived up to the name.
