The RIU Palace was such a wonderful place to stay at and relax. The staff was amazing and attentive with everything. One staff remember that stood out was Franco, he always made sure we had water and drinks at all times. The property was very family friendly and currently planning our kids there next year.

We stayed at Riu palace peninsula last year for 3 nights and we loved it, so decided to take my family (group of 10)to this Riu this year. He had the higher expectations due to the higher reviews they had. Unfortunately, we had the mix feelings at this place. The pools were too small for the size of this resort, the room was small with kinda see through shower (not convenient if you travelled with kids). They didn't have music at the pools. The service was overall great, except maybe 1 guy at Asian restaurant was kinda rude. The entertainments were ok. The lobby was good with A.C. The beach was horrible, we couldnt swim at all. They have the huge and pretty landscapes, but I wished they had used it to build another pools instead. Overall, it was ok trip, but I wont come back to this resort or this area anymore. Good luck !

Friendly workers. Food was good and have different varieties. Hotel is very clean . Polite workers and helpful. Lacks night life at hotel and the programs are boring. They could use different programs where they can make it more fun and adults oriented

We had a fantastic experience. The staff was amazing and very attentive. The only hiccup was I requested a double bed for my daughter and I but was given a single. It was corrected but we had to bounce around rooms the first two days. We still think highly of this resort.

My husband and I went to this resort for our honeymoon and we absolutely fell in love with it!! He wants to go back again next year. The resort was even more beautiful in person than the pictures which were already so beautiful. From the drive up, to the restaurants, to the pool and beach areas everything was amazing to look at. Our room was cleaned every morning to perfection! Dinner was our favorite! We always had great options to choose from. The one thing that really topped our experience off was the service from those that work there! Everyone was so nice and constantly made sure we had exactly what we needed! Two servers we had from the time we got there to the time we left were Lorenzo and Oscar. They made sure we were in their sections every day and we felt so taken care of each time. They became more like friends of ours by the end. Lorenzo went above and beyond for us our last morning before we left by surprising us with a table set up just for us with flowers, sparkles, and mimosas for breakfast! We 10/10 recommend vacationing at this resort and even more recommend receiving service from Lorenzo and Oscar if you have the opportunity! They will not disappoint!

all inclusive very nice views , very elegant looking , when in the middle of august not too hot but still hot . service ,workers are excellent , beach is beautiful, only thing is the food is not good… people all around the world come to this hotel so I understand why the food can be likable to someone but coming from Chicago , the food wasn’t that good,but can’t really find anything around good that Ik of , but the food gets the job done I guess , drinks were excellent as well

Great food and drink options, excellent service, neat rooms. Can improve quality of night entertainment (been in other Riu hotels and the night shows on this hotel were just ok). Pool was too hot (need to work on shade, also water depth is too shallow and that is a factor on pool temperature)

The only thing I didn’t like is when you coming back late for any activities there was not many chose for a late dinner. The 24 long room the nachos was not good or any of the options. I would like to see an improvement next time that I will visit the Hotel Riu Palace Riviera Maya. I recommend the Hotel Riu Palace Riviera Maya to family and friends.

RIU Palace Riviera Maya showed me the best vacation of my life! The staff was the most kind and attentive group of people I’ve ever encountered. Other than the steak house, the restaurants and buffets served high quality delicious food. The room was clean and spacious. The beach setting was convenient and beautiful. We will certainly return!
